We had all the awesome free paper deals for the last few months, so how about an ink deal for a change!

Starting today through Monday 8/22 you can get a great price on ink and toner from 123inkjets.com using coupon codes and cash back.

To get the best ink deal:

  1. Log in or register with Shopathome.com.  They are offering 20% cash back on your entire order!
  2. Click to Shop Now at 123Inkjets.com
  3. Look for your printer and try to buy “compatible” or “re-manufactured” to save more.
  4. Use code FREESHP4 at checkout, to get 10-15% off your entire purchase plus FREE 3 day shipping.

I just grabbed a high yield 2,600 page toner cartridge for our brother laser printer for $24 after cash back!  That’s a lot of coupons…

(thanks Alison!)

      How does shopathome.com work?

      • Katkoupon

I am trying to figure this out too. Looks similar to Ebates and the previous CashBaq (I’ve used both). You get cash back from your online purchases…this site says you get a check once you reach $20 in your cash back account, up to 12 times a year. With Ebates, you get a check at $5 in cash back, but only quarterly. I don’t make a lot of online purchases, so it will probably take me a long time to reach that $20. I will have to wait for a deal from Ebates I guess, unless someone has any other suggestions.

      Hey Jenny,
Are you sure ink cartridges qualify for the 20% cash back… On the shopathome website the “Cash Back Tiers” states office supplies qualifies for only 2% cash back. Sent an e-mail to the shopathome ppl but have’nt heard back yet…
patiently waiting to hit the ‘submit order’ button!
      Thank you!!!

      • I honestly don’t see anything else that they sell other than ink.  I do know that the other times they have had increased cash back deals IO have jumped on it and always gotten my cash back correctly.  I would assume the same “tiers” were listed then.  Sorry I don’t have more than a “it’s worked in the past” kind of answer.  Let me know what you hear from shopathome

        • Hmp511

Thank you! I’ll let you know :)

          • Hmp511

            From Shopathome:

When purchasing Ink cartridges from 123InkJets.com, they should fall under the 20% cash back, unless you are purchasing an OEM product.  However, if your order is large and expensive, and you still are not sure, contact the merchant and they will clarify.

So that people like you and me can get this helpful, money-saving information for free.

    • Hey there.  There is an affiliate disclosure link in the footer.  Feel free to go to shopathome yourself though if you like.

    • Stacy

Thank you Jenny for everything! I appreciate the FREE service you provide :)

    • Okay, I just completed an order, but its not showing up on my account with shopathome.com   I hope I did it right.  I went through your links etc and my paypal account has already been charged.  Never used shopathome.com before.

Thanks for sharing the deal.  I just ran out of ink today and didn’t know anyone made a compatible generic for my Kodak ESP3.  If it works well this company has me as a long term customer.

Not too bad a deal. I can still find Re-manufactured Cartridges for both of my printers cheaper on Ebay. With all discounts on 123Inkjets.com, one of my cartridges is $13.29 but on Ebay it’s $11.99 with shipping included. The other HPLJ Cartridge is $27.29 on 123Inkjets.com and only $16 shipped on Ebay. Just saying its always good to compare!!

    • Lshtm

Did you buy just one cartridge or did you have to buy several for this deal?

    • kim

i just tried to buy 2 ink cartridges and entered the code and it said my items did not qualify for ths code..oh well…target it is

      • Mrs.Ellis

        Same problem here. Oh well.

      • kbbest

I recently bought off-brand cartridges from Amazon. They work very well, and are WAY cheaper than even 123inkjets, which I have also used in the past. Hope this helps!

    • Shirl

I looked as well at that link for the ink cartridges. At walmart.com, I can get new, not remanufactured, for less and it’s just .97 shipping to my house. I think Walmart is the best and least expensive, even less than Best Buy for toner. All should compare.

    • Shirley

Walmart is cheaper and shipping is only .97.

      • Frostypaws0

Only for some old off bran ink. This is a great deal.

      • Happy

walmart wasn’t cheaper for me… depend on what ink you need.

    • Sierra_26

how do you get the 20% cash back?

      • sharong

You have to go throught shopathome.com …the 20% cash back is on compatible or refurbished ink only, and the OEM (original mfg.) ink is only 2% back. That is why Jenny said to look for compatible or refurbished.  Also the code FREESHP4 gave me an extra 10% off on the compatible ink, but not the OEM.  My order said shipping was free if order is over $55.00.  I have ordered from 123Inkjets before and have been satisfied.  It is worth the savings if you don’t care to use the compatible ink.

Is this a really good deal on ink?  Should I buy several? How often do ink deals pop up?

      • Sierra_26

I think it depends on your ink. I just got a colored and a black cartridge for $13 and even at walmart it would be $15 to $20 just for the colored one. So it was a great deal for me!

    • Judy- NC

Thanks so much, I purchased ink for my thirsty Cannon MX870 and what a buy…got 12 cartridges plus the chip to track the ink level. Got 15% discount plus free shipping. What a deal plus up to 20% back from Shop at home…Usual price each approx $17-20 each cartridge and my printer takes 5 cartridges…

    • Plaidjenn

Hey! I got a high yield for my printer too!  Just in case anyone couldn’t find their printer from the dropdown menu on their site – they were listed in alphabetical order, but mine was way at the bottom of the list (not in order!)  So scroll down and keep looking if yours is not listed.  Thanks again, Jenny!  You’re the best!

    • lauren

Thank you so much! Got a 10 cartridge bundle deal for $53 and free shipping.  It would have cost me over $170 to buy them as I usually would.

    • Lauren

actually, the $53 was before the 20% I’m going to get back..so excited!
