There is an intriguing deal today on Amazon local.  For $10 you can grab a $10 Starbucks gift card (that never expires) and get a pass for 20% off all qualifying regularly priced in-store purchases through December 31, 2012.  Your gift card and discount will work at any Starbucks in the US.

It appears the only  items not participating are: the Verismo® System, Starbucks Cards, or alcoholic beverages.

If you are a coffee lover you are basically just saying “Yes, I’ll shop there soon…” spending $10 for a $10 gift card and then getting an extra coupon.
