Register Rewards are a generic coupon that you can use on anything in the store (except prescriptions and giftcards). They do print after you buy the item, so you technically have to pay for it. I have actually had problems in the past trying to use RR's from a particular deal to repeat the deal again. The RR's would not print the second time so I never do the same deal with the RR's it printed.

Hey! Thanks for all the help with saving money! This site has been such a saver! I appreciate all the time you put into this! My Question is this: At Walgreens, how do the RR work? I was going to get the Colgate this past week and get the RR making it free, but the cashier said (because I asked before I did the transaction) that RR go toward your next purchase of that same item. Is that true? Thanks for your response.
