  • SC = Store Coupon
  • MC = Manufacturer Coupon
  • SS = Smart Source
  • RP = Red Plum
  • PG = Proctor and Gamble
Coupon Terms
  • WYB = When You Buy
  • B1G1 = Buy One Get One Free
  • .75/1 = 75 cents off one item
  • .75/3 = 75 cents off three items
  • EXP = Expiration Date

Starting tomorrow 12/14 you can start earning your way to a massive book of coupons from Procter and Gamble.

Here’s how:
1.  Between 12/14/08-1/31/09 spend $50 on Procter and Gamble products (before coupons)
2.  Save your receipts
3.  When you have spent $50 (before coupons) submit your receipts and they will mail your coupons.

Go here for more information from P&G.  It is reported from numerous folks calling P&G that you do not have to purchase everything in one transaction.

    I have a question…you have on here “before coupons”. How are we supposed to be able to tell if their was a coupon used for an item seeing as on the receipt it doesn’t say what item the coupons were for? They are only listed as vendor coupons. Thanks

    What before coupons means is that the purchase price of the items needs to be $50 before you use coupons. You are exactly right they have no way to know what you used coupons for, so try to use coupons on everything you get and maybe you can come out for a lot less than $50 but still qualify for the coupon book!!

    So then I don’t really need to worry about coupons I may have used for an item since it doesn’t show what my coupons were for?

    Ok, I have another question, does it matter if the store had it on sale? What I mean is for example my Publix receipt shows Bounty Ad Spec Savings 2.00 and then 7.99. Does that count as a coupon?

    You are to circle the purchase price so whatever the receipt shows as the price you bought it for is what they will count. Most of the time that would mean that the sale price is what would count not the full price. I would make sure that you had hit the $50 without a doubt so go with the sale price when doing your math. Odds are by the end of the promotion you would have spent $50 anyway.
