I just read from another site that Johnsonville sausage is 2 for $6 and there is a $5 coupon from this link: http://gameday.johnsonville.com/

so if you buy 3 packs, only costs $4 which is about $1.30 each pack.

I am not sure if Publix will take the coupon as it say only redeem at Albertson and etc… but our local Publix always takes competitors coupons, they even take Walgreens and because of that I got lots of L’oreal shampoo for free this week (in fact, I made money out of it cos it was 2 for $2.99 and there is a $4/2 at Walgreen’s Easy Saver Booklet and I am giving away 2 L’oreal shampoo in exchange for a chocolate pop corn recipe).

Hey, what is the “celebrate kimberly clark booklet”? I asked at customer service and they didnt know (our publix just opened in December{yippeee} and they arent really up to speed on some things yet)

Jenny, I really appreciate the time and effort you put into this every week. I am able to print the list,gather the coupons and know just what I am going to purchase and makes my shopping trip so much more enjoyable and rewarding! Amy – Most coupon inserts are different based on regions and the size of paper distribution. I try to list most of the variations of them so you will find some you don’t have at all, and them some that you have a different value of.
The Yellow advantage Buy Flyer is a flyer that is at the front of the store near the weekly ad. There is a green one with health items and the yellow one with food items. Both have coupons.

The item will ring up half price at $1.26, your .50/1 coupon doubles at Publix to be a $1 off coupon, so that makes it .26 cents

Math Question: If the Cheerios Mix is $2.53 BOGO and I have a $0.50/1 coupon, doesn’t that make them $0.76 each (instead of $0.26 which is listed)?

There’s a target coupon for V-8 or V-8 fusion (.50/1) that combined with the manu q would make the juice almost free.

One way I make sure all my coupons are scanned is to hand them to the cashier after everything has been rung up. If the cashier feels the need to rifle through the bags then so be it. You can watch and hold your baby up to watch the money coming off your bill- my son loves to do this. Also- Add up your coupons before you go in and then look at the coupon savings line at the bottom of your receipt before you walk away. Don’t let the cashier intimidate you. Those coupons are put out to be used! If your store gives you a problem- call the corporate office- They are very willing to listen if you’ve experienced a problem.

Hey Everyone,

I ran across an unpublished special in Publix today. Any flavor of Sabra Hummus is 2 for $5.00. Use with last week’s (1/25) SS coupon $1.50 off makes them $1 each. I bought 7 of them. $35 worth of Hummus for $7.00. Gotta love it!

Another unadvertised special is Tropicana OJ is 2 for $6. I had a coupon for $1.00 off 2.

For those of you in the Charleston area, I discovered today that the Park West Publix is a lot more co-operative in accepting competitor coupons than other Publix stores in the area. The store manager, who we spoke to today, said they would take any store as long as it was not a store that is unheard of in the area. He did make mention that they just do not like when the policy is abused by people who bring in a stack of 10 or more for one item and stock up. Maybe the stores who are more stringent on that policy are feeling too many people are abusing the system.

Jenny, This is my first post on your site and I just want to say thank you for all the information you so graciously provide each and every week. I have only been super-couponing since Jan. 11th and I have saved an amazing amount of money. I hated going grocery shopping before, but now I love it. Just in case anyone is going to Publix in the next few hours (hello West Coasters). LOL. I received my Publix Family Style Magazine in the mail today and it had several store coupons in it that made some of the items FREE or close to free when coupled with manufacturer’s coupons (i.e. Welch’s Sparkling Grape Juice, Welch’s 6-pack of 100% juice and Mott’s Apple Juice for Tots). You have to buy these items TONIGHT to get the deals though as all 3 manufacturer coupons expire today. Hope it works out for you!

Just so you know – one of the Publix Cashiers told me last weekend that if you forget to give them a coupon – bring it back with your receipt and they will give you money back!?!? I never knew that.

i’m going to call the store…it just bother me that they act like i’m bothering them every time a pull out my coupon..they make me fell like i’m trying to steel from them…i think it’s a wrong attitude expecialy because i started spending my money a publix when a start using coupons i could’t not afford it before!

Anna- are these coupons they are taking and putting into their draw but not taking off your bill? If they are taking them but not scanning them then at the end of their shift their draw will not balance. They have to add together coupons plus cash to balance with the total sold. You can always call the store when you get home and notice it and they will see that you are right when the cashier balances out. I have had this happen before and I called and then brought in the receipt and they credited me back the money (in cash) that they had messed up on.

If these are coupons that you forget to hand over you can go straight to customer service (while you are still in the store) and hand them your receipt and the coupons and they will hand you cash.

what i should do if every time a shop a pubblix they don’t scan all my coupon ..i realize that when come home..it’s hard to pay attention everything when i’m shopping with my baby..thiis the 4 time that happen

The TGI Fridays Party Size snacks are 50% off and there is a $2 off one party size box in the BIG GAME PLAYS coupon book available at Publix. This would make them about $3 and something. They are originally around $10! I am gonna stock up because my hubby loves the potato skins!

They are in FL too. That is the flyer that has all the personal care products advertised and the yellow advertises all the food. A new one is set to come out Sunday so start looking soon.

I asked my store manager about Walgreens coupons this week. YMMV, however, she indicated that they would take the Easy Saver coupons that are for grocery items but not the $5/$25 coupons that we routinely get for both Walgreens/CVS. She said that if the coupon was for a store item then they will take them.

However, I went to two different stores last week and was told that I could use it at one and that I couldn’t use it at another store. I purchased the Loreal Vive shampoo/conditioner at one store and got it for free. I purchased it at another store and had to pay $2 for each. I just returned them the next time I went to the store (I feel like I live at Publix sometimes so it’s no big deal to return items).

Anyway, I think that you’ll have less of a problem if you bring in an Easy Saver coupon for a grocery item. But if they don’t take it then just return it.
