I need help from all of you professional couponers-I’m new and getting extremely frustrated because my local Wal-mart and CVS will no longer take printable coupons. I live in a small area and Food Lion is the only one that will take these now. Has anyone else run into this same situation?????

I got a softsoap rebate form at K-mart. They had a display on a shelf in one of the beauty aisles that looked like they change it often (no price tags.) It’s a cardboard display about 3 feet wide and has 3 rows of softsoap pumps on them.

You did it just right, just stand firm. Telling them that you have two items and the price that they are selling for does not matter with coupon redemption. The store will still get fully reimbursed, and it is the store that decided to make the other item free not the manufacturer.

My question is the same as one previous. Do you have to do something special to get the print out of $4/$20 on your receipt? A friend of mine gets this all the time – I haven’t as of yet get one. How do you?

I went to CVS with a friend tonight and they said she could not use 2 coupons when getting B1G1 items. She insisted and they finally gave in, but they kept saying that she was only buying one item. What is the best way to deal with this if it happens again?

They do vary by area on the coupons that are included and the value of coupons. Most areas got a $1 off any Softsoap 8oz or larger and this works for the ensembles too. Large cities got the $2 coupon.

That coupon was only good through Sunday but in the future it was one of the ones that they email out so you won’t find it on there site, just in your email.

Be careful if you are going to purchase the Rejuvenating Beauty Mag at CVS. I grabbed two different ones today, and they must have been old because all of the coupons were expired (with the exception of one of the Sally Hansen ones, which exp 3/31/09). Does anyone know what’s on the cover of the most recent one? These have America Ferrara and Kate Hudson on the front.

I’m pretty sure both of those coupons in the RIB are really manufacturer coupons and not store coupons so you can only use one. If the bar code starts with a 4 though, they are store coupons and can be stacked with a manufacturer coupon.

I went in this morning to CV and did the SS Ensembles deal (w/$3.99 refills) but I bought 4 of them and used 4 RIB coupons
My store last week handed me a stack of just the coupon inserts!
I ended up getting:
4 ensembles $3.99 each
2 boxes GLucerna cereal $4.69 each
2 PAAS coloring kits $1.99 each
2 Sally Hansen Nail Polish
2 Veet $2.24 (on clearance)
Tote Bag (Email coupon for free tote bag)
3 Roll pack of CVS Earth Naturals Paper Towels $1.99
4 small bags of cashews $ .79 each

I used
$5 off $30 purchase from last receipt (used first)
4 x $2 off Ensemble coupons from RIB
2 x $5 off Glucerna Cereal printables (Scan w/out beeping and gave me overage
$3/2 Sally hansen coupon
2 x $2 off Veet coupon from RIB
Email coupon for Free tote bag
2 x $2 off any 2 CVS nut (Printed from scanner)
$1 off any CVS Paper towels 3 pk or larger (printed from scanner)

Total came to $42.00
After coupons total cme to $11.74
Used $4 ECB and paid $7.74 cash – GOT $11.98 back in ECB’s!!
Pretty good trip for me, not the best but I was happy with it, and the limit on the SS deal is 3 so I can use some of my ECB’s and go back and get some more.

These are the only coupons that are in the RIB magazine that I have WITH Jennifer Anniston on the front.

There are no Sally Hansen in the one I got… I saw that it was in an earlier issue. They expire 3/31.
