The Mystery Penny Item at Publix for 3/15 – 3/16 is: Publix Tortilla Chips
(some stores vary)

You can get the Penny item with any purchase that is $10 or more before coupons. There is a Mystery Penny Item coupon in the Publix Sunday Ad every week.  Some stores do not require this coupon, but many have changed and do require it now, check with your store to find their policy.

Check out all of this weeks Publix Deals and Coupon Matches before going out.

**Note: FL stores do not participate in the Penny Item promotion**

In the Atlanta Journal-Constitution Sunday edition (March 15), the penny saver coupon is not on the front of the Publix flyer this week, but can be found on page A17.

  • Jeannie

It’s on page A15 in my Sunday paper.

  • Rachel

Thank You for telling us what page it was on in the AJC. I was about to think there wasn’t a penny item this week.

Thanks Jimbo – in my copy of the AJC it was on A15, but definitely thanks for helping us find it! Happy Sunday!

I am really confused… I got last Sundays paper and could not for the life of me find the coupon or even a mention of the Sunday penny deal… I am in central FL…anyone know??

  • Tina

Aymie, I’ve heard that they don’t do the penny item in FL…sorry :-(

Man we get the bad end of the deals! Its ok though…Thanks!

Last week I went to 3 different Publix stores – I was looking for the Banana Nut Cheerios and some stores were out. I found that at the 3 stores, the mystery item was different. One had a can of Progresso soup, one had Swiss Miss hot cocoa, and one had Publix brand “Oreos.” If you have the time/energy and can easily get to different stores, it may be worth breaking up your grocery list.

Thanks for the heads up Jimbo.. Mine was on A15 as well..
Whats up with it not being in the Publix flyer.. Seems like they are making it harder and harder to redeem the penny item

  • Helen

Do your stores limit 1 penny item per purchase (over $10 b’4 coupons)? Did it not use to be up to 10 items? I think maybe it was just hopeful thinking!

  • Bonnie

Yes, my stores definitely have a “1 mystery item per purchase over $10″ limit. I just happened to need to go to several stores to find my Cheerios, and I was surprised the mystery items at each store were different. If I have a lot of Publix shopping planned, I will now consider hitting a few stores (out of curiosity if nothing else!). :)
