Coupon Abbreviations
  • SC = Store Coupon
  • MC = Manufacturer Coupon
  • SS = Smart Source
  • RP = Red Plum

Coupon Terms
  • WYB = When You Buy
  • B1G1 = Buy One Get One Free
  • .75/1 = 75 cents off one item
  • .75/3 = 75 cents off three items

This isn’t really a deal of sorts…

I just got an email from Turbo Tax that  they will be raising their prices on 3/28.  Stinkers.  Right before taxes are due, I don’t know whats worse them or the IRS in general.  So I’m giving you notice to start or finish your taxes in the next week if you are using Turbo Tax.

Of course there are always other options, Tax Cut, Tax Act… but who knows whether they are following suit with price raising or not.

I guess I better get ours done too.

    Thanks for the heads up, I better get going on mine. I actually started mine a week or so ago, but got so discouraged when I saw they’ve apparently eliminated all the Education deductions except Tuition this year. I had/have THREE in vo-tech-college last year. We’ve spent a fortune on books, uniforms, tools, laptops, etc. Ouch!

    I received FREE Tax software in the mail this year from H&R block. You could probably get a free version online if you look.

    I used H&R block last year, and they did the same thing. I started my taxes but wanted to go back and review – it took me a few weeks to get back to it and by the time I did, they had raised the price (it was around the middle of March by then).

    or for those that still love paper filing, and are in the Columbia area – save yourself the stamp (if you go downtown) and drop your return off at DOR’s main office at 301 Gervais Street (old mill near the Children’s museum). :)
