Just thought I would share about my shopping this week(mostly at HT but some at Target, Rite Aid and CVS)

Total Pre Coupons: $300.35
OOP: $68.29 (pre-tax)
Gift Cards Earned: $35 (Target and Discover Cards)
CVS Bucks Earned: $3
Rebates Earned: $30.48

FINAL COST: +$.19 (PROFIT)

Think I had a AWESOME week. I also could have saved $10 more but I forgot to separate two of my orders so I could use the $5 off $25 coupon.

Well, I do not live near a HT, but a friend of mine does. She came to visit yesterday, and I set her up with coupons for several of the Free and almost free items.
She just told me that she went to HT on her return to NC- spent $27 and saved $78!!

Go to Kroger some of the Kroger are NOW doing the TRIPLE coupon. Started 5/1 & ends 5/9. The took my internet coupon. Call your store before going. I know for sure that the one on Nippers Corner is doing it and the one in Brentwood on Franklin Rd.

Hello All-
My hubby and I frequent Charleston so got to take coupons and make HT part of our trip. We have been to the one on Long Point Rd in Mt Pleasant with no problems previously, in fact, our first time the first day did really well- spent .87 and got $31 woth of stuff!

The next day we went (to use the next 20 coupons) and the manager told us they have a rule that you can “only triple the first three coupons” (we had lots of Colgate coupons, etc.). My husband got out of line to adjust his order accordingly, then she came back when he was in line the 2nd time and said “you can only use up to 3 coupon deals [per type of]item.” She also proceeded to tell my hubby that “you should NEVER have overage!”

What is correct here? Should we have Luckily, we didn’t give up and the next day went to other HT’s in Chas. with no problems. Is this a rule that the manager just made up because she didn’t understand? What should we have done? Has anyone else had the same issue? Thanks!!!

Thank you so very much for listing these wonderful deals! I had the time of my life in HT the other day – I made 2 separate trips – the first one was great, and the second one was even greater!!! The second time around I had about $42.00 worth of items, and my grand total at the end was $1.31, plus I am turning in that receipt to get my Reynolds Wrap rebate! I am so excited!

This website has truly been a blessing to me! I am currently out of a job and it’s all I can do to hang on to every last penny!! Thank you, Jenny!!!!!

Went to the HT in Brentwood today. First time shopping, so got a new VIC card. It didn’t work when I got to the check out, so they did an override at the end. The total was $20 and I saved $25. I was bummed. This didn’t see right. I went to the car, reviewed my paper work and really I should have only spent $6 plus tax. I went back in and the manager worked it out for me and paid be $12. I ended up with an $8 bill. She said that she didn’t even see where they scanned some of my coupons. Be watchful

I went to my Harris Teeter today to use some of the FREE ideas you suggested. They said they would not triple the coupon if it made the item free. So, basically they were doubled and I had to pay a little OOP. Is this normal or just particular to my Harris Teeter?

Thanks for such a great caption of prices and items that will work. Don’t get mad at HT for only taking 20 coupons on a transaction though. If you have ever been behind someone using coupons and you aren’t, it can get really flustrating, they are only making sure that it doesn’t inconvenient the non-couponer; I use to be one of them. Now, I just try not to make it hard on the customers or the tellers so that we can keep saving $ like crazy.

Well, if I would pay just a little more attention….I noticed some of the coupon dates are older which is probably why I cannot find the coupon online. Dern it all, I will miss a lot of these specials with the triple coupons. :(

Hi,
I just found your site. I am a beginner at this and attempting my first big savings tonight or tomorrow…BUT my Sunday coupons were accidentally thrown away. I went to the website (redplum and smartsource) and can’t find the exact coupons that are listed on your deals at Harris Teeter. Is there any where else to find these coupons, or do I need to search for last Sunday’s paper somewhere?

First, I was wrong about the Brentwood TN taking printables for triples. They do now, I guess, as long as it doesn’t say do not triple. Also, I found out that this store is getting a shipment tonight (Friday) and Sunday night so some of you might want to go back the next mornings. Maybe some free stuff will be back. Joe, our store will take them. The computer should adjust it, and it will be free. My cashier was kind of strange the other day and adjusted some by hand, but the computer was already doing it.

I’m sure this has been answered somewhere, but I didn’t see it. Some of the deals listed make the items free, but with overage. I have .75 off the hormel compleats coupons and they are 2/$4, so it’d be .25 over, I called my store and asked how they would handle this and they told me they can not give overage, so I asked if they would adjust the price to just make it free and they said they don’t do that, so I basically just can’t use the coupon. Has anyone else had this experience? I went shopping anyway and was going to try to see what would happen but I didn’t want to waste one of my 20 items and look stupid at the register. Thanks.

My HT does double.or triple printable coupns, as long as it does not say do not double, even then some automatically ring up that way.
I work next door to HT, I shop for non perishables, am, before work, then pick up more after job.I got 17. for just 8.27 today,not bad.
I also had the reynold recycled foil, eath day rebate, free.. but onlycould it it by signing up before the day. Used 55 cent x 3.. will get back 2.99.

HT took my $25 off shopping order…got some TUDe, but worked. $100 groceries for $10.00 OOP. Going back tomorrow for the rest. Also clearance had aveeno $2.94 used $10.00 of three (printed online).

For people that could not get the deerpark water q, there were $1 peelies on the ones at my store. I also got a thing from the catalina machine that if you buy 2 get $2, buy 3 get $4, buy 4 get $5(I think that’s right) between May 1-25. Now if they let me use more than one peelie on bogo….

I went last night and was able to use my Wags RR’s! Didnt have any problems using them. There were several things out of stock though like the rice and the dawn dish soap. Does anybody know if HT gets shipments in during the week, and if so, when? After coupons and rr’s, my balance was -2.96 so I had to add some things at the check out to get rid of the negative balance lol! Got over $60 worth of groceries for $.39!

So I went today. When i read the website, it said it would take rite aid coupons as long as it came from the circular not the internet, but I tried it and they took it anyway… wish I split my order in 2… I ended up paying 4.82… still good yay!
