Please note: These all say “One per person, per transaction, PER DAY”.  Please do not ask Food Lion, Publix or any other store to accept more than that.

    Recently I tried to use at Publix a Food Lion store brand coupon for 1.00 off their 12-pack soda. The assistant manager said that they could not take the coupon for the Publix store brand. Has anyone else come up against this? I’m fairly certain that I have used similar coupons on Publix brand items in leu of a Food Lion brand.

    I will post this on the Publix portion of this site to see if anyone else has had this occur. I don’t want to make enemies at Publix, but if I can use a coupon correctly in their store, I want to know. Thanks!

    Due to a storm I had to unplug computer so was unable to get on yesterday evening to see if anyone answered my question on What does PDF stand for? thank you

    PDF is the type of file (file extension) that you are opening. It usually opens up in the Adobe reader software. :)

    I was told the same thing at Publix recently. They said they would no longer allow you to use a FL store coupon (or any other store) for the same Publix store item. I tried to use the $1 off FL peanut butter coupon on Publix Peanut Butter and was not allowed. They are also not accepting the money off coupons like $5 off of $25 from any competitor. Bummer!

    I have not seen anyone comment on this so here goes:
    I recently went to food lion and cashed in on the charcoal. With the $3 flip coupon and $6 pork coupon, and a 13.5 lb bag of matchlight charcoal on sale for 10.99, there is also a $1 peelie on the bag, so the bag is only 0.99 when you buy the pork and another product. the bbq sauce has a $2 rebate available at the store, and it’s on sale for 3/$5 (I think), so in the end, you basically just pay for the pork. I also found a $1.50 off of kraft tearpad and a $2 off produce coupon tearpad at my store so in the end I got money back on those coupons and got a bunch of stuff for $12.

    starting Friday June 19th certain food lions will triple coupons up to .99…… limit 20 coupons

    Does anyone know if any of the Food Lion stores in the Charleston,SC area are participating in the Triples? Also, I haven’t had any problems at Publix with using Food Lion coupons. The cashiers that ring me up are usually just excited as I am when I use them. Publix is great…that is why I will continue to shop there.
