This is a deal for anyone that is up for following a few steps…

amazon

If you have never tried Amazon Prime you can get a 3 month Trial of their program.

To do that follow these steps:

  1. Go Here
  2. Put any participating Textbook in your cart
  3. Proceed to Checkout (don’t worry we aren’t buying it)
  4. During Checkout select Prime as the shipping option.
  5. Fill out the registration for the Trial.
  6. Close the window - don’t buy the book! (unless you need textbooks)
  7. Go back to Amazon to your Account and “Manage Prime Settings”
  8. Turn off “Auto Upgrade”

You now have 3 months of free shipping for most things on Amazon!

Is this deal over? I am trying but do not see the prime option for shipping? Maybe I am too late.
  • I already signed up for it but don't remember if I did the auto do not upgrade? How can I make sure I don't get charged $79?!?! AH!

This is great for getting diapers shipped to your door for free, too - or sending gifts directly!

Having some trouble with the textbooks adding to the cart today (July 23) but I think it's on Amazon's side. I'd like to get free shipping on the little things I order from Amazon all the time, especially the good sale on Dr. Suess books for my son!

Jenny, I just wanted to let you know that this morning I ordered a cd from Amazon. Paid w/gift cards I earned using Swagbucks and paid nothing for shipping because of this deal. How great is that!? I would never have imagined when I started using coupons a few months ago that I would actually be able to get something like a cd completely free. LOVE your site!

  • Shelly
Thanks! I just wanted to be sure in cased I messed it up. :-)
  • Jenny
Yes that is the same, sorry for the confusion.

This is such a great deal! I have one question. When you say turn off "Auto Upgrade" do you mean click where it says "Do Not Upgrade"? I just wanted to make sure since the wording isn't the same as what you used. Thanks!
