K-Mart is doubling coupons again at select stores starting 7/05. Please call your local store to see if they are participating before getting ready. Remember last time? Maybe 10 stores in the southeast were running it.

A few new rules:
- You must spend $25 before coupons.
- 10 coupons per person per day.
- Can only buy 4 of the same item in each transaction.
I spent a while this morning looking at the weekly ads to see what areas were participating and in all the zip codes I put in I couldn’t find a single ad that showed it running…
Go here to look at your ad. You should see $2 doubles on the front cover.
Because so few stores participate in the South I’m leaving this one to Mercedes at Common Sense with Money. She has a good list of deals up.

How could you tell? I can’t see it in the circular. I checked most of the stores in NE GA and I didn’t see one.
I’m going to Chicago for a conference later next week, and guess what–they’re doubling in Chicago. I’m driving, so I think my coupon notebook is going with me!
What zipcode is showing the $2/1 Aleve? I only have a $1/1 showing? Thanks!
None in Upstate SC are-I called all the Greenville, Easley, Seneca, Anderson and Mauldin Stores.

Our newspaper ad state that they are only going to double UP TO $2. Does this mean they will only give $2 off on an item? Or that they will double any coupon that is (before doubling) up to $2?

Just a heads up; it pays to call the K-mart stores in your area. My store doesn’t indicate they are honoring the double coupons based on the website, but I called and they are.
I live in the Chattanooga, TN area and from what I understand, Cleveland, TN is also honoring the double coupon deal up to $2.

Just came from a Cincinnati store. Paige - they are honoring ‘including’ $2. The doubled coupon is $1.99.
This was a total headache! I have never taken the time to head to Kmart for this promotion before and will probably not do it again. The $50 get $14 promotion didn’t work. The manager said that you have to spend $50 and not use coupons. Well, that is just plain silly! Who would pay regular price for diapers! Anyway, they ended up giving me a $20 giftcard, but it still wasn’t worth it! Good luck to all of you who know how to work this deal. I’m sticking to the easy stores!

32034 North Florida is participating… I’m curious to see how well the new rules are going to be enforced considering the last cashier I had allowed “DO NOT DOUBLE” coupons to double (without manually UN-doubling them, but did not make any coupons double), allowed me to use more coupons than “permitted”, and she didn’t mind if the coupons were a few weeks expired (which is okay, bc coupons are redeemed by the man. for up to 6 months after the exp. date; i believe there was a post about that a week or two ago)
Kmart let me do several transactions back to back as long as there is no one behind me in the lane. I did like four or five 10 item transactions. You might ask. I did have all my items picked out though. The manager okayed it.
the KMart’s in Chattanooga, TN are participating in the double coupon, I didn’t see it in their ad but asked when I went in .. good deal!
i found out the only k-mart that doubles in=s the supercenter, and the one in georgia in rome and they wil be closing down in about 60 days.
Zephyrhills, FL- I did the Pull-ups deal. Rang everything up then handed the coupons to the cashier. I got the $14 back without a problem. Just thought I’d share.

K-mart has the worst customer service. My husband and I were just there and we were buying del monte fruit cups. We had $2 off manufactor coupons and they refused to take them because it said the word publix on the bottom(as an advertisement). We got the manger and she swore up and down they were publix coupons and not manufactor coupons even though it says it right on the top! We called corporate and they argued with us as well! We have used them in the past and even though there was a misunderstanding, there was no customer service.
i could not get the 14 dollar coupon at kmart even though my total was 78 befor coupons they said my total had to the amount reqired after oupons so they wouldnt let me have it oh well think this will be my last kmart deal
