You can get the Publix Penny item with any purchase that is $10 or more before coupons. There is a Mystery Penny Item coupon in the Publix Sunday Ad every week or somewhere in the Sunday Paper. Some stores do not require this coupon, but many have changed and do require it now, check with your store to find their policy.

**If your store has substituted something else but still has this item in stock you can ask to get the corporate decided item and most stores will let you**

    It might be bc your total was $9.20 and you were giving them $10 worth of coupons. You can't have more $ off in coupons than your total.

    i was looking at your transactions and i've tried doing something similar a while back- tell me if i was doing something different

    Listerine was 2/9- i had 2 $4 off q's and i also put a .20 filler in so i could use my rr coupon which was for $2. they told me i couldn't. is there something different from my scenario than yours that i'm just not seeing?
