Hi from Knoxville, Tennessee! Wanted to tell you of my deals last week at Staples. I got single subject notebooks for .10. And composition books for .50 (not just the traditional black and white dappled ones, but cool graphic ones). And I did buy multi-purpose paper that was $4.99 with $2.99 rebate. But .01 sounds much better! Thanks for telling us about these new deals.

  2. Ln says:

Is there a limit to the number of easy saver rebates one can get? For example, if I buy two packs of paper can I get two rebates, ten packs of paper-10 rebates, etc?

  3. Alli says:

How does the Staples easy rebate work? Is it instant or mail in? Thanks.

  4. Amber says:

Also Teacher day is coming up at Staples. Go to their website and see what the date is in your city. The first 100 teachers will get a FREE goody bag.
    Chattanooga’s day is August 8 from 9-noon.

  5. Kelli in TN says:

Hello! I work at Staples~wanted to answer some Qs. The easy rebates are submitted online (Staples.com), then the rebate check is mailed back to you. Its awesome! Staples is really great about getting the rebate money back to you!!
There are limits on the PENNY & $1.00 deals~your Staples ad should tell you. Besides the deals mentioned, there are alot of Buy One Get One Free items. Don’t forget to check out the clearance.
ONE MORE Thing~TEACHERS usually get to buy more than the average customer. Just show your Staples Teachers Reward Card at checkout!

Use these Bic printables to get pens for free and the white out for $.50

  7. Stacey W says:

Kelli, thanks for the info! Are homeschoolers considered teachers as well?

  8. Kelli in TN says:

Stacey W~I would ask the Manager at your local Staples if they would consider Homeschooler Teachers eligible to buy more.

  9. Telaina says:

    Stacey,
At my Staples in Fayetteville, GA, they do include homeschoolers in all their teacher promotions. You just have to apply for the teacher rewards card. I think I had to show my letter of intent the first year I got the rewards card. I love my Staples. The teacher appreciation morning is always lots of fun and the employees are friendly. The even accept my Office Depot coupons when I have them.

  10. Amber says:

I agree with Telaina. I am a homeschooler too and I had to do the same thing to get my teacher card.

Awesome job Kim! Think I will copy your “order” tomorrow! :) But aren’t your q’s for the pens $1 off each?

  14. Kim says:

Yes I was actually looking at the wrong ones! Found the $1.00 off q’s after I posted this. Thanks!

  15. Sandi says:

PLEASE THINK OF NON-PROFIT ORGS when you go to Staples. You may not need copy paper for 1 cent, but consider buying it and donating it to your favorite non-profit (Women’s Shelter, Speech Therapy provider, etc.) Also remember SCHOOL SUPPLY DRIVES for children’s orgs. I called Staples to see if the “limit 2 items” was per person or per day. They told me that if I wanted to come in every day until Wednesday I could get the $1 items and other sale items again. The only items I would NOT be able to purchase again are the rebate items (copy paper, photo paper, etc.). This is from a Columbia, SC store.

  16. Sloan says:

I can’t get the bic coupons to print. They dont even pop up. does this mean the limit is reached?

  17. Alison V. says:

I can’t get the bic coupons to come up either. I sent an email to the bic website to ask about it.

  18. Veronica says:

The $5 off $20 coupon is not in the flyer that’s in the store. She told me it was only in the flyers that came in the newspapers and my newspaper didn’t have a Staples ad. She said if I found one I could bring it in with my receipt and they would refund me. My paper is the Nashville Tennessean. Any suggestions as to where I could get my hands on this ad?

  19. Sloan says:

Tried on two computers and couldnt get the BIC coupons. I ended up buying 2 pks of photo paper and 2 pks of pencils with a $5 Q. Also bought the copy paper and supplies to make a coupon binder with another $5 Q. I did the rebates online and it said it should take 4-6 weeks to get a check.

  20. Sloan says:

Curious if anyone had success using the $5 off coupon with the other bic coupons. On the in ad coupon it says something like Not to be used or combined with any other coupon. Just curious if any one had problems. My cashier was a little weird just about doing doing two transactions so I could use two of the $5 off coupons.
