Well...I KNOW I didn't do so well. But, here is what I got. The Kellogg's, $5 RR didn't print. I got $2 instead. I was so confused, that I didn't even worry about it. You guys do such a GREAT job with your coupons...I'm inspired. Jenny...Thank you! I'm so addicted! Anyway, I spent right at $50...I got, 2 tape dispensers, 2 boxes of mini-wheats, 2 boxes of raisin bran, 3 ponds wipes, Dove hairspray, conditioner and shampoo, Q-tips, 2 boxes of Club crackers, a box of cheez-its...I think that is all. I saved $7.75 in coupons and got back $12 total in RR. So, my next trip will be even better! :) So, without splitting everything out, I spent on average, $3 per item....Definitely not great! But, now, I'm armed with RR!!!!

I went to Wags in Chattanooga this week and bought 7 skippy peanut butters and 1 ragu, had coupons for all but no register rewards printed. The manager tried again ringing up 8 peanut butters and still didn't work, but then he went to a different terminal and rang up 8 peanut butters and RR printed, then he voided the transaction. So sometimes it may be a specific cash register won't print.

I am already working on Sundays sale. I have total of 3 RR equal $17 dollars. Iam planning on purchasing 13 items with 8 manufacture coupons should they take them and all three of my RR. I read somewhere that # of RR and manuf coupons had to be greater than the number of items purchased. I will also recieve 6 more RR for other products than the RR that I will be paying with. Please someone let me know if this right or wrong. Walgreens can be confusing

Went to Wags today and got:
6 Ragu Sauce
1 Sikpy Peanut Butter
1 Hellman's Mayo
1 2pk Gum Toothbrushes
1 Vitiam Shampoo
2 Jello
After the 1.36 Wags coupon on jello and 5.00 off on 25.00 I had 4.25 in mag coupons. Then used 12.00rr's. Owed 4.22 plus 1.23 tax for a total of 5.45. Got back 17.50 in rr's.
I felt I did really good and was really surprised they had all the items I was looking for.
Thanks for all your help Jenny.

I went to two different Walgreens in north Alabama today. I had the same issue that many others are having. If I used a RR in a transaction, the RR for that transaction would not print. The manager at the first store claimed that this was always the policy. I told him that it was not how it had worked last week. The manager at the second store was perplexed on why the RR did not print. In both cases, the manager printed me a RR from the cash register and apologized for the inconvenience.

Is this the new system? If it is, then I don't see how they are going to compete with CVS.

I did get some good deals, though. I used 3 of the $5/$25 coupons.

The Ester-C is a fantastic deal if you have the $5 coupon from SS 6/28. A 90-count bottle is $10.99. With the $5 in-ad coupon and the $5 mfr coupon, it's only $.99! Or do what I did and take both coupons to Publix, use the Walgreens $5/$25 and get a great deal!

When using your RR at Publix, please make sure your cashier knows to SCAN THEM instead of entering as a competitor coupon. RR are actually manufacturer coupons that Publix can get reimbursed for, as long as they are scanned into the system. More often than not, cashiers see "Redeemable at Walgreens" and enter them as competitor coupons. They lose money this way. If they will scan the RR in, they can get reimbursed, same as with other manufacturer coupons. It is a privilege for us to be able to use RR at Publix. Let's do our part to ensure that privilege remains!

I just wanted to add to the Keebler deal. They are $2 each and if you buy 5 that makes it the required $10 to get $5 RR back and you can use (5)$1/2 and they would end up being free! Just thought I would mention it since I did the math. Am I wrong because no one has posted anything on this deal?!

I am new to Walgreen's also, and I did not realize it was so tricky to use RR in Walgreen's. I do know that my local Publix accepts the Walgreens RR's with no questions asked. So here is what I plan to do after I get the paper on Sun. morning, compare the CVS and Walgreen adds and see which is a better deal for me, ECB's or Walgreens RR's, which I will only be using at publix now.

Just received a $5 off $25 in my email.
When I clicked the link, it goes to the Wags website.
So you can also get it by going to their homepage :)

I managed to get the $5 RR on the Kellog's products (using lots of Qs!), but the $2 RR for the 2 boxes of Kellog's cereal didn't print. The manager told me that was because I used a Q on the cereal. I told him I had used Qs on the other deal, and that $5 RR printed just fine. I asked if this is in writing somewhere, so I don't waste my time, his time and my Qs on such a thing. He said even he doesn't know when "they" (not sure who "they" is exactly) determine that using a coupon voids the RR deal. Frustrating! This store also won't take internet coupons. (Rockbridge Rd. in Stone Mountain/Lilburn GA) I find that amusing since Walgreens actually links to internet coupons on their very own website. Anyone know a Walgreen's around here that does take internet Qs? I think this experience makes me like my CVS even better. All the locations around me are SO nice!

Heather- I had the exact same problem at Walgreens this week and it put me in a terrible mood - I used a bunch of manufacture Qs and tried to get my RR for the purchase- I was supposed to get $ 10 in RR for the first transaction and it only printed 6...then once the total got below $7 it wouldn't print any RR at all. The manager gave me a story about how the manufactures make sure they still make money and the computer that prints the RR won't print them if the total is too low. I told her to then please adjust it herself and give me the RR b/c that's how her store advertised it- and she refused. So I ended up spending way more than I had planned...and very mad I think I'm just going to be a CVS girl b/c I can't figure out this Walgreens thing to save my life- any help would be great -

Went into a WAGS for 4 Ragus with 2 $1/2 coups and $5 RR. After using my 2 coups it would not take my RR. I remembered your tip about using the RR first. I asked the cashier to take the RR off first. She did and then it took both coups. I got 4 jars of Ragu for .25 ea. Woo Hoo!!! Thanks for the tips.

Ok, so far I'm not liking Walgreens. I'm a nurse and already don't like dealing with their pharmacy to call in rx, but went today to take advantage of some freebies and RR's and it was not good. I had no RR going in. Bought a bottle of the Vitamin conditioner, got my RR for that and was going to roll into the Tylenol buys. Got 2 boxes of the Tylenol sinus, used my 2 $2 off coups. The subtotal was more than the RR from the previous transaction and the computer wouldn't let me use it. They said since I only bought 2 items and had already used 2 coups, I couldn't use another. I told them to keep the Tylenol. The bad thing now is that I have $4 RR and don't really want to go back.

SAMANTHA- I'm with you on the walgreens thing!, they did have some already expired! And some that were about to. I had to go back and look for more once I got to register and noticed it. Luckily there was more but I did ended up with one box of nutrigrain bars that expire next week. Luckily my kids love them, so half of them are already gone.

to JANICE, with the fuel to school, you will get a $70 off coupon off the mini dell. I check price on them and I believe they are like $269-$70 coupon, should it make a good deal.

I am not pleased with my wags either. I went to two different locations and every time it goes bad. I had $1/2 bic last week and tried to buy the 49cent highlighters with many other items and they said the coupon exceeded the cost, So they would not take it. It’s like that little devil beeper thing on the cash register beeps every time. Then when the RR doesn’t print the manager told me to mail out for it. For a $1 RR. I said the stamp is half the price sir. He did not care. There trying to compete with CVS and not succeeding in my opinion. Hope there upcoming new system is more fun :)

Thanks Jenny, that helps alot. Sometimes I will have my husband print some at work, but it is not my favorite thing to ask him to do in the middle of his day. Maybe we need to get multiple computers! Do you know any good deals??? Ha! Ha!
