I’m waiting for a slow week around here and lately they just aren’t happening.  I only made it out to one store this week and it was very unexpected as I arrived in New York and had no contact solution.  So the new card to never leave home without is your CVS card!

I experienced NYC (really NJ) cvsing at 11pm at night.  Not only was I shocked at the number of people awake and out at that time of night but also a little shocked to find coupons with items in the store!  It made me happy, my coupons did not come with me on the trip.

This was my scenario (I asked the pharmacy that was thankfully open, for a new Autofill booklet):

Buy:
(2) Renu Solution Twin Packs $7.99 ea
Use:
-$3 off $12 Eye Care Products
(1) -$2 off Renu (the coupon fairy only left one but no complaints)
-$5 ECB
Total Due: $5.98 + tax
Got Back: $6 ECB

Thanks to the nice person that left coupons in the one area I thought for sure no one would even know what a coupon was!  tune in next week I have big grocery plans for labor day (I am even going without kids!).
