Phyllis, For a couple of weeks I have been getting the same thing when I tried to print from SmartSource. After long frustration of changing everything I could think of I decided to change my printer settings on the “Advanced” tab to the following and it worked! Yay! I did have it on “Print directly to the printer” and it use to work but it stopped working. Now it is working again with the following changes. Good luck!

Start printing immediatly

Something very surprising happened to me last night at HT!

I received the $5 discount for the Pillsbury/General Mills promotion but did not have 15 items related to it (from what I could tell).
I had shopped at HT a few nights before and had 7 or 8 items that did fit GM promotion.

Ya’ll probably already know the answer and can enlighten me:
Is it possible that the GM promotion spans over multiple transactions/days?

I also got the #3 catalina for buying lots of GG veggies. I understand that one.

Thank you God! Thank you Southern Savers for your hard work! You’re saving my southern family $ and from having to eat Food Lion generics all the time.

I am new to this site. So far so good with the exception of some issues in finding the same prices as posted here. Oh well. I need some help though.

Can anyone tell/show me where to find the Old El Paso coupons?? I can not find them anywhere?

Also, pretty much all of the printed coupons say “Do not Double” If that is so, how are you getting the deal?

I called customer service at HT corporate on Friday because the Dannon yogurt coupons NEVER double or triple. He explained that there was no way for them to enter it differently in the system and then asked which stores I shopped at. He said he would call the managers of those stores and tell them to override whenever I had a Dannon coupon. When i went in the store today and was talking to the manager (after the Mahatma rice did the same thing and would not triple completely) and I mentioned the yogurt coupon, she knew exactly who I was. She said that all the employees had been told that morning to override the Dannon coupon if a lady asked for it. She went ahead and overrode the Mahatma since it did the same thing. I thanked her for the great customer service!

My understanding about the “do not double” on some coupons is the company who puts them out is covering themselves that THEY will not double or triple. If the first number from the left is 5, they will double, if it is a 9 (like lots of blinkie coupons) they will not. Also my Charlotte/Huntersville area flyers state (at the bottom in small print) that the canned Green Giant niblets and vegetables withOUT sauce are all included in the 15 General Mills products needed for the $5 instant rebate. Don’t forget 5 frozen GG boxed veggies ($.99 at my stores) will get you a separate catalina for $3. If the catalinas won’t print, my stores have all given it immediately. Sorry so long…

I am feeling so jazzed – today was hands down the best I have ever done! $59.95 worth of graoceries for $4! But the best part was that I shared this website with two people (one a HT manager, no less) who cannot wait to check it out! I just did my best HT triples visit EVER! I got 15 cans of Green Giant vegetables (my store did not limit to 10)and got the $5.00 General Mills cashback instantly. I also bought 5 boxes of frozen Green Giant veggies (with coupons for each one) and got the $3.00 back instantly since their catalinas were not printing. Also got 12 Clif bars ($1.50 each on sale) with 12 $.50 coupons so they were all free. I purchased a set of baskets on clearance and when they rang up wrong, I got them free so they actually paid me almost $1 to take all this STUFF!! WOO H00!!! Thank you Jesus! Jenny, I also want to thank you for the list of “free after triples”. I took it into the store with me and all your info helps me tremendously! Thank you so much!

Can anyone tell me if Cookie Crisp is included in the General Mills promotion?? So far the only lists I can find on the GM promotion list Cheerios, Total, and Lucky Charms… Are those the only GM cereals included in the buy 15, save 5, deal? Thanks!!!

Not sure if anyone has mentioned this, but there must be an extra special deal on Hillshire Farms. I was fully prepared to pay the 1.85 each for lunchmeat but I bought 2- they both rang up at 2.00 each.

(2) Hillshire Farms Lunchmeats at 2.00 each
(I believe you have to buy 2 to get the deal)
Use (2) .55 coupons that triple.

Makes each one .35 each!!

Please complain to corporate if you feel you are getting hassled about couponing. They need to know that they are running a most wonderful campaign but some of their employees don’t seem to want to play nice. My suggestion to them was to have a coupon friendly line staffed with someone well versed in their policy so that I could use it without feeling like the people behind me were put out by my couponing. Plus while I was waiting my turn I could pick up a few good tips from the couponers waiting with me. :]

At my store, the GG Frozen Boxed and GG Niblets canned are included in the $5wyb15 promotion. I am sorry you are all having trouble with your stores. My store is great! When the $5 doesn’t come off, they take the $5 off as a store coupon! I have gotten countless biscuits, canned GG niblets, and GG Frozen veggies for pennies on the dollar! I love being able to get things that our family will eat so cheap! I love couponing! It is truly addictive! Heading back tonight for more PB Biscuits and GG Frozen veggies, if I can find more blinkie’s at FL, that is! My HT has only one time given me flack about DND5′s and when they scanned, they tripled anyhow! That was last triples, on the other GM promotion! Sorry this is so long, just providing some clarification on the GG veggies and got carried away lol!

For All CHARLESTON couponers — I agree with VeronicaB! I’ve had trouble at the Mt Pleasant stores, but never with the Downtown HT or the JI HT. I will never use coupons again at the Mt Pleasant stores — very difficult and stressful!

For MT Pleasant couponers… I haven’t had any luck with any HT in the MP area. They always argue over my printed coupons. The ONLY HT I’ve never had issues it the one on James Island by the downtown connector. It’s a small hike, but they have never gave me gull about them.

Boo hoo. My cashier tonight pulled out all of my dnds and manually entered them. My OOP would have been $2.31 if they had tripled!! As it was I got $64 worth of groceries for $13.31. I need to find an ally at my HT… he even called over the manager, and she reiterated that it is HT’s policy to abide by the wording on the coupon.

Jennifer #66 – you might want to check your store’s flyer. Perhaps where you are the GG boxed veggies don’t count, but here in Charleston, SC they most definitely do. It says so quite clearly on the flyer (on the page with the other items for the 15-item deal). In the fine print, they are included. It’s essentially all GG frozen boxed veggies that are currently on sale for 99 cents each. The cans are not included, but those are. At least that’s the case here!

Just so everyone knows, lucky are those who got their green giant frozen boxed veggies to count because mine didn’t and since I had a poopy screaming 11month old I just asked the cashier if I got the discount instead of checking myself. She told me yes but when I got home twenty minutes away I realized I didn’t and I called the store and they told me the boxed ones did not count. So be ware! But thank you Jenny for your hard work I still saved 66%! But I”m going back Saturday for round two and the management said they would take my veggies back and if I purchased a qualifying item they would refund the $5!

i had incredible luck at the HT in mt. pleasant today. the boxed frozen Green Giant do count towards the GM promotion – or at least they did for me. also i was able to get the catalinas for both the green giant products and the old el paso. i got 6 large bags of groceries today for $11! saved 85%! I hoping to go back tomorrow for some more fun!
