The Mystery Penny Item at Publix for Sunday & Monday, 9/27- 9/28, is:

Publix Bottled Water 6pk (sports bottle top)

You can get the Publix Penny item with any purchase that is $10 or more before coupons. There is a Mystery Penny Item coupon in the Publix Sunday Ad every week or somewhere in the Sunday Paper. Some stores do not require this coupon, but many have changed and do require it now, check with your store to find their policy.

Don’t for get the Yellow Advantage Buy Items. There will be a new Green Advantage Buy list next week.

Penny Item in Spring Hill, TN is Kraft squeezeable Mayo or Miracle Whip! There is a large display in the front of the store with a "penny item" sign on it!

I live in Canton, Georgia and have located the penny item coupon in all Publix sale adds in the AJC at least since June. It is also in the sale flyer that is in the front of the store when you walk in. This week they offered the item and I didn't have to use the coupon.

Just got back from Publix and had a great shopping trip. Got two of the penny water items since my boyfriend went with me. Used $23. competitor plus other coupons for a total after coupons of $27.08 oop. Savings of $105.87. Love this site and all Jenny does. Really don't see how she does it with 3 little ones.

1 per transaction for the penny item..
So if needed split your orders... Its supposed to be one per customer. So sometimes, I just bring my husband and have him do the 2nd order.

Rosewood in Columbia had vanilla wafers by 6pm Sunday. They ran out of water.

The item at the Publix on WH in Taylors, SC was Mott's apple juice at 3 pm today. They said they ran out of the water.

Anyone know if you can do the Palmolive "Try Me Free" again with the new rebate form in today's paper? I did the one last month, and the dates on this one are different.

Yep, penny item here in Nashville is Publix Jumbo Beef Franks. Too bad I didnt see this before I went, I would have asked for the water.

If I get the penny item and drop it off at the Cobb Energy Center for the metro Atlanta flood victims, do you think the Red Cross will accept it at that location? Or should I drop it off elsewhere first? I don't need the water but I'm sure those people in the CEC could.

I shop in Middle TN & our penny item at the Smyrna store this week was Publix Hotdogs. I would have preferred the water, but a penny item is a penny item.

Atlanta Area-Could someone help me locate the $1 off coupon for the AJC? A really nice lady told me about this last week in Publix but she couldn't remember the address to the link.

Beware of trying to use the $1 off coupon to buy papers Monday (double-pack) Even if you print it Monday morning it will show that it expires Sunday (the day before you printed it) so the store won't except it. I don't shop on Sundays so this was irritating.

If you live near Hiram, there is always someone on Sundays in front of Home Depot who sells them for $1! I don't know what time they are there, but I always go after church and buy 2 or 3!!!

I don't know if they sell them like this anywhere else.

The $1 off AJC coupon used to be at http://media.ajc.com/unplugsunday/. They haven't had it on their website for a few weeks now. Sorry! If someone else finds it in another place, post it here, because I am interested too.

It was originally at www.ajc.com/unplugsunday, but someone commented in a thread weeks ago that the AJC said the promotion was over :-( It sounds like the best deal to try and get these days is a "double-stack" paper, which consists of two papers bound together and sold for $2.50, as opposed to two individual papers purchased at the individual price each. I hope this helps!
