Can’t Win them All

Posted on Oct 16 2009 | By Jenny · Comments

Just so you know there is no Chick-fil-A offer for tomorrow.  I had been inudated with email about the offer and didn’t thouroughly search it out for you.  I do try to research deals to make sure they are not email harvesters and are actually things that you would want, but fell short this time.

Sorry to get hopes up.  Thanks to those of you that did find out  the truth for us though.

Thomasville Christian School, Thomasville Georgia is selling them for $6.00. Had a student show up at my door today selling. I purchased one, but now wish I had purchased several more as Christmas gifts. Oh well, hopefully will have someone else around selling.

Don't be silly- it's impossible to keep all the balls in the air all the time without one dropping. I can only imagine what your inbox looks like..on second thought- I'm getting stressed out already so I'm just going to stop imagining.

Oh. My. Gosh. Why are you apologizing!?@? I have been brought to tears with your generosity and knowledge. I went to Publix today and saved 138 dollars. It's all because of you and your team. I cannot imagine trying to keep up with everything that you do. We all make mistakes!!!

It would have been nice but considering the economy, I'm not surprised if they are cutting corners like this. Thanks for the update! :D

Our Chic Fil A here in New Bern NC has been having this deal: Free breakfast item every Tuesday in October. Pretty cool. You have to go inside to get it though, not in the drive through

Val: You can buy the calender in their restaurants. My husband buys me one every year at Christmas. They are quite cute and they have a monthly coupon. I don't eat chicken, so I think my husband likes to get the coupons back for his lunch. :)
  • Val
Thanks. My son loves Chick Fil-A, so coupons would come in handy.
  • Jennifer
No worries - thanks for all that you do!!!!
  • Val
Will the calenders still be available for purchase?
  • kathi
In years past misc "kid groups" (4H and stuff) have been able to sell them for the same price they are going for in the restaurant and they get some of the profit so I try to find a kid who is selling them (last year I was unsuccessful and had to resort to buying one from the store but the 4 years before I got them from a kid)
  • Our preschool usually sells them as a fundraiser, but isn't this year because (not verified with CFA, but what the director told me) because they have increased the cost of the calendar b/c of all of the free coupons and the fundraiser price is more than the calendar price (I think she said CFA is selling them for $6-7 and they could sell them for $8 to make a $1-2 profit). Not such a good deal! Our CFA usually has a promotion when you buy a $20 gift card, you get a calendar for free, so we usually stock up that way!
  • Suzanne
I just bought 10 calendars from a fundraiser, for $6 each.
  • Lara
Sorry, Jenny. I had seen that deal posted from more than a few reputable sources... Bummer.
  • Oh well, would have been loverly though.
  • Jodi
