Free KFC Grilled Chicken Today

I meant to post this last week, but have found that my day’s are filled with grocery lists! If you are headed out anytime today (10/26) stop into any KFC and get a free peice of grilled chicken.
Hopefully this freebie will go better than the last one that Oprah messed up.
I got my free piece! If anyone happens to get a piece other than a leg, let me know! I got a free piece last time, and it was a leg! Not that I am complaining about free, but I wonder if KFC is giving everyone legs.

I went with a friend around 2 pm on 10/26. I was told they were only giving out thighs & legs. No breast? I asked. The cashier said no and we have to wait 9 mins. We said ok and ordered a root beer float. To our pleasure and surprise, she brought us a piece of breast each!! They were really delicious! Thanks KFC!
Nope; they offered me either a leg or thigh. Took the leg; it was a nice compliment to my chicken pot pie from home!
My husband and I had a cheap lunch date and both received thighs. Thank you for the tip Jenny!

Nevermind. I read up on it. Oprah’s not really to blame. Guess they shoulda planned better. I got my free chicken though and it really is good!
The original deal was with a secure coupon print through coupons.inc (the parent company of coupons.com) and she posted a pdf version of one of those coupons on her site. That’s the ultimate in coupon fraud, and ended up with folks printing tons. So they negated all of those coupons and gave anyone that came to the store one raincheck for the deal that they had to redeem later.
Didn’t know this was going on, but went to KFC yesterday and I was kinda freaked out when I got to work and I had a chicken leg in my bag. I thought it was someone else’s order at first, then I read your post Jenny, so thank you for comforting me in knowing it was really my order. Ha ha!
