It shows a little plus sign beside each item that is part of the sale and you can scroll up and down to make sure you count them up. We've been able to run back and grab an extra item quickly if we miscounted and then finish our checkout (especially when there are no lines). Ask at the customer service counter for the number for Catalina Marketing (they had to ask a couple of different people, but finally got it for us) and call them with your receipt (they need some info off of it) and they will mail you the coupons that you missed.
