The Mystery Penny Item at Publix for Sunday & Monday, 10/25- 10/26, is:

Publix Greenwise Toilet Paper 4pk

This is by far the best penny item Publix offers! Many of you will find that your store substitutes in other items automatically, if they still have Greenwise 4pks available you can ask to have it instead of the substitution (that’s what your receipt will show you bought even if a different item is substituted).

You can get the Publix Penny item with any purchase that is $10 or more before coupons. There is a Mystery Penny Item coupon in the Publix Sunday Ad every week or somewhere in the Sunday Paper. Some stores do not require this coupon, but many have changed and do require it now, check with your store to find their policy.

I HATE that tp! Hubby hates it too. My dad came to visit and he asked what was up with our tp and asked if we needed money!!! I'm a cottonelle fan, but I always get it and donate it.

My Publix is now limiting the mystery item to one per person. They will no longer allow seperating the order. Oh well, we get one item for a penny, so we are still getting a great deal!!!

My Publix (Kinnerly Crossing) wouldn't take a Target coupon Friday. It was the .50 off Quacker granola bars from Target. :( Anyone using Target coupons there? They used to take them.

My cashier didnt take my Target coupons either in Columbia. She said they had to be from a grocery store competitor. I asked her if it had changed recently and she said that it hadnt and that I must have gotten a newer cashier to take them a couple of weeks ago. She also told me that they take coupons from grocery store competitors that are not in the immediate area. Funny how it can be so different by store and by cashier.

I used that exact coupon at mine in birmingham, and had no problems. they don't double them though. I called my store before I went to make sure they would take them. Next time either call before or ask a manager when you go.

With the Target coupons it depends on the coupon. Publix doesn't have a coupon policy because they try to make their customers happy. I find that the Publix tp is just fine! I am blessed we even get a penny item

Thanks for the tip - my Publix had traded out the TP from yesterday with coffee today - yuck! I went and grabbed the TP and asked if I could get that instead, and they said no problem!

Not soft enough? WOW?!?!?! I've always liked the Greenwise paper. I mean it isn't pillowy, squishy, almost t-shirty soft ... but it's plenty soft for us. I actually find Charmin to be too soft and almost 'slick' ... I like Cottonelle or Scott Extra Soft best ... but Greenwise is definitely A-okay in my opinion. (FWIW, I do NOT like 'regular' old-style Scott ... it's like wiping with notebook paper!)

My husband jokingly refers to this as John Wayne TP since it definitely isnt soft. I would have loved to have gotten Dole juice.

Today at Publix I forgot to ask for my Penny item and they didn’t offer it. Can I go back today or tomorrow and get it? Will they give it to me?

Check with your closest publix store, some stores do not require the coupon to get the penny item.

Oh, I wish I could trade out the toilet paper for something else! I'm a big SOFT toilet paper fan (Charmin and Cottonelle), and last time I bought the Greenwise I found it less than desirable. But $.01 is $.01!

Wish I would have know about the Greenwise Toilet Paper prior to shopping this morning. My Publix in Smyrna, TN offered Dole's Pineapple Juice as their penny item. Still useful, but I love when the penny item is toilet paper!
