Sorry for the last minuteness of this deal!  If you are in need of anything like appliances or electronics tonight might be your night.  Sears is having a Friends and Family Sale starting at 6pm that covers the entire store.  There are some great deals on big ticket items and on smaller items (clothing).

To see the sale ad for the event go here.

A Few highlights to me are:

Most clothing is 40-50% and then you will get an additional 20% off

Jeans starting at $14
Bras at $3.99
Shirts starting at $4.99

Appliances are 10% off and then you get an additional 10-20% off

One thing to note.  Last year a reader took this ad to another store that sold appliances and got a price match with 10% difference.  It’s an idea…

Are there any great deals you see?

This is awesome! I just finally received my sears $50.00 rebate for buying two mens pants (July offer) and it expires at the end of this month. Since I am limited to use the card on men’s apparel, I am hoping to get some good xmas gifts for my grown sons and hubby! thanks for the tip!

I didnt read all the details but do you have to have that printed coupon to get the extra 20% off or do you think they would have any in the store? My printer is broken and I would love to go shopping tonight!

  3. Anna says:

I was wondering the same thing, and if I need anything else in particular to go?

  4. Tabitha says:

Yes, I was also wondering if we needed to print the ad and have in hand in order to get in and get the discount. Isn’t this sale after normal store hours?

  5. Jennifer says:

The sale is online all day - no need to go to the store! There are coupon codes provided on the sears.com home page

  6. Anna says:

But can we still go to the store? I hate paying for shipping, haha!

  7. April says:

Also, today in GA is the last day for tax free on energy star appliances!

  8. Jenny says:

You can go without any ad needed. They sent this directly to me to share but said nothing about needing any proof to get in. There are some great deals, I hope you guys come back and share!

  9. Anna says:

Thanks so much :) We are heading there now!!

I just called them too and they said I didn’t need anything.

  10. Wendy says:

We purchased (2) King-size pillows, (2) Land’s End Embroidered Kids Bath Towel sets (towel, wash cloth and hand towel), and (1) pair of men’s Dockers slacks. We paid around $50. I think that was pretty good for everything we purchased.

  11. Rachael says:

I bought my washer and dryer today. Super good price. I also went to the shoe section on the way out the door. Lots of different shoes for 9.99 a pair. (That was clearance and will still be that way tomorrow.)

  12. Heather says:

Didnt find any good deals in my store. I thought it was odd that they didnt have ANY signs anywhere about the extra savings! Oh well, at least I got my husband to take me out for a nice dinner while we were out! :)

Hi, I didn’t get this newsletter until 3:59 am on Oct.5th. The sales were over by then. I’ve noticed that I get the newsletters late before. I wonder why this is happening. In light of your email problems I didn’t think you’d see an email anytime soon so I thought I’d post here and see if anyone else had this problem and what I might do to remedy it.
    Thanks

I just happened onto Sears website Saturday night and got some FANTASTIC deals. My best deal was a black jersey knit wrap dress (the kind you can crumple in a suitcase and it not get wrinkled) for $2.99. In fact, I got 13 items, men’s and women’s items, and didn’t pay more than $3.19 for any of them. They were going fast, and three items in my cart went out of stock before I could check out. (Oh, and I did get the 20% off too.) But Sears has crazy good sales like this fairly often, and if you’re willing to buy a season behind, you’ll find plenty of inexpensive options!
