Anyone know if the manufacturer will still give the 14.99 rebate on Accucheck Aviva if you use a $10 coupon when purchasing?

I gave up long ago trying to roll RRs or even use them at all in Walgreens. Remember they are MQs and will scan on any register at any store. That being said, most stores will see the red "W" and not understand that they are MQs (even if they read on it that it is) and it won't be worth the hassle. But if you shop at a grocery store that accepts competitor Qs, use them there to come off of your bottom line. I go to Wags, get what I want, pay cash, then take the RRs to Publix. My Publix takes Wags Qs because there is a Wags in the same parking lot- sometimes they try to enter them as competitor Qs, but I just tell them to scan them because they're MQs and it works like a charm every time. I'm in metro ATL. Even if your Publix doesn't take accept Wags as a competitor, I'm sure that if you showed a manager where it says "Manufacturer Coupon" across the top, only suggests you use it at Wagreens, and shows the address directing the retailer (not Wags, retailer) to send it in for reimbursement, they'll see the light. And of course, once they try to scan it and it works, you'll be good to go.

Tonight I bought Lady Speed stick for $1.00 with my $0.75 coupon. Had 8 coupons so $2.00 for 8 sticks with my $1.00 RR. It printed a coupon for 2 for 2 lady speed stick so I went and picked up 2 more for free! If you have the $4.00 Glade Frangrance coupons you can get the small candles for $0.29 each. YEAH!

I went to Walgreens with full intent on getting RR back. But the items I wanted had sold out and the truck was coming in today. No Ragu, No Ban deodorant.... but I did get Maxwell House 4.89 B1G1 free. I got 4 coffees and had 2 $1.00 off coupons equalling $7.78. Also got a gallon of milk for $2.69 and the Halls Refresh for $.50. I had $6.00 in RR and paid $5.92 in cash for everything. The cashier had her mouth hanging open.. I just smiled and left.

Walgreens does not have a stockroom so, once their shelves are empty they stay that way until their truck comes. Ask your store manager what day shipment comes in then, try to go that night for the items with a RR.

Walgreen's in our area say if you use any coupon on purchase you do not get the RR. Outside my area (Knoxville) the Walgreen's said if you use a RR on your purchase you can not get a new RR. If this is Walgreen's new policies then I for one will stop shopping at Walgreen's as the only reason I have shopped at Walgreen's for years is the coupon deals.

Yes I would add a filler in that second purchase. Not sure if the campbells coupon attaches to 2 items or 1. I have been using the .09 pens on clearance have tons now lol.. and starting off that way is good. I spend tons of time for just a few things but then I think if that stuff would have cost me $10 then and I spent an hr on it then better pay than 0 [if I didnt spend the time] But you will get a bit better as you go along , me on the other hand age has caught up . lol

My rule of thumb- one item for every 'piece of paper' (RRs first, manuf second) you are handing over at the register. Wags Qs don't count towards the total, just give them last.

You can use RRs from the same manuf to purchase a different item from the same company (and get your new RR) if the values are different.
ie: used the MVP razor RR to buy Vaseline and vice-versa b/c one RR was for $6 and the other for $7. Mileage may vary, but they generally print.

On the Publix List there is a coupon for $3 off of 5 Quaker products, it says Bi-Lo in the corner but across the top it says manufacturer's coupon. Does this mean I can use it at Walgreens?

Thanks for the help :)

I am new to Walgreens deal shopping, am I correct:

Buy 2 @ $2.00 Trident gum get $1 RR
Use (2) .75/1

Total due: .50
Get back $1 RR (making me .50)

Next:
B1G1 Campbells cooking soups @1.59 (with in store q -limit 4)
Buy2 get 2 @ $3.18
Use (2) $1/2
Use $1 RR
Total Due:.18

Will I need a filler for the 2nd transaction? I would look at it and say no and I am only using 2 q's and 1 RR, but I thought I read a post that if the q is ex:$1 off 2, this would be concidered 2 q's? I am trying to start out with smaller transactions to lesson my confusion (hahaha), but seriously, the amount of time I have spent on 2 packs of gum, and 4 soups...LOL!!!!

They told me you can't use a rr that you got from a product to buy the same product. That's why it's better to do a couple transactions and get a different rr in between to use on the product you actually want.

This was my first time using the register rewards at Walgreens and I've got a question. I bought Citrucell, used a coupon this week and earned $3 RR. I went back the next day and bought it again and used my $3 that I earned the last sale, used my coupon and bought a filler item but did not earn $3RR for the 2nd transaction. They said if I use my RR to pay for an item I will not earn RR on that items. Is this correct? I talked to the manager and that's what he said and he also said it's written on the RR.

I'm so used to CVS and love it so I can't say I like this system at all. Please help I feel like I just lost $3.

I also seen where WAGS has a $3.00 off Mucinex and then there is a mfg coup in the paper this Sunday for $1.00. Mucinez is on sale for $18.99. Since this is on sale and i have the two coups, can I still use my RR? I can use the peroxide as a filler correct?

Smartsource has Trident coupons 2/$1 off. This is good if you are out of the $.75 coupons.

Also keep in mind that if you have a manufacturer coupon that states "off two" like .60/2, it will attach to both items being purchased with it and count as 2 coupons.

Most coupons say "One coupon per purchase". That means one coupon per item purchased, not per total purchase. I have run into this too, but the manager quickly clarified it for the cashier.
