Where is Jenny?

In case you have emailed in the past 3 days and heard nothing from me, I am here.  I promise.   The most difficult side to running Southern Savers is keeping up with email.  You don’t really want to know how many emails I get a day and in all honestly responding to most of them is not humanly possible (if I did there would be no grocery lists this week).

Saying that, I should have realized that something was up sooner.  For three days I went to bed having answered every email that had come in that day.  I was feeling good!  Then yesterday things seemed off.  I didn’t get a single email all day…  turns out our email “name server” (the things this stay at home mom never knew about) was going bad and finally died sometime Friday.  I was getting some messages but not many and then I got nothing.

Well, last night my sweet husband got it working again, however in a matter of minutes of I ended up with over 500 unread emails.  I hope to read them all and respond to those that I can, but please don’t think badly if you hear nothing.  Just seeing the unread email number makes me close the page and move on to less stressful activities (that’s not going to help any though).

Thanks in advance for understanding.

  • Not that you have time to read this comment either, but Jenny, you are our hero. We love any little thing you do. Thanks again and again!
  • I emailed you a few days ago concerning my all you mag subscription and am one of those that has not heard back. (according to the information you gave on this site, I should have received the October issue as my first issue-which I should have received by now and haven't) I hope you don't delete emails! Yikes. Please look into my subscription. Thanks!

Ditto the others--just delete the emails. You have too much to do already, maintaining the website and taking care of your family. A person can only do so much.
  • Christine
The DELETE button was made for moments like this! You already give so much of your time, don't feel guilty, people will understand!
  • Shannon
I was going to suggest the same thing. Just delete them all and if it is important they will email again. You rock and do so much already. Have a great week!

    Hey Jenny,
I can't believe that you haven't hired help yet. I couldn't do it. The Lord is definately giving you your ability to keep going. I want to send these expired coupons I have to soldiers. You posted the address one time, but I can't find it. Have a great day, and I will definately pray for you to be able to perservere today.

    Hi Jenny,
You mentioned that we could print 10 of the coupons for the Bumble Bee. But, I have not been able to. Even with changing the zips. I was only allowed to print 2. Any ideas on this?

Thanks for all that you do. :-)

Forget them all. Let the people that REALLY need you write again. =)
