If you live in or near Spartanburg SC the local Regal Movie theater will start to play FREE Christmas movies every Saturday morning, starting THIS Saturday. I have a feeling this isn’t the only theater in the country doing this, so give your local places a call and see if anyone else is joining in on the fun.

Nov. 21 — Fred Claus, PG

Nov. 28 — A Christmas Story, PG

Dec. 5 — Nativity Story, PG

Dec. 12 — Christmas with the Kranks, PG

Dec. 19 — How the Grinch Stole Christmas

Are these movies free?

Yes. The flyer I have says they’re free. Every Saturday at 10AM. You could probably call the theater for more info or go to their website. I think you have to go to the Westgate Mall website and then go to Events.

They ARE free! My hubs and 4 year old went last Saturday at 10am and saw Polar Express! So great!

Were they really crowded? Do you have to get there super early to get a seat? I live in Spartanburg…I think this is AWESOME!!!

Checked the Summerville, SC Azalea Square 16 – and no, they are not participating in this program. It may be a local thing… dangit. That would have been great!
