End of the Month Wrap Up :: Southern Savers

It’s almost the end of the month, (really a few days early). There are a few things to do:

Head to Rite Aid Video Values, watch any videos and get any coupons you might want. They don’t expire until 12/31, but will disappear on Sunday.
- - After shopping Black Friday Deals, go ahead and submit for your November Rebate.

Use any Upromise eCoupons you want before 12/1 (they don’t carry over to the next month).

Print any coupons on Coupons.com , SmartSource.com, and RedPlum.com (they also may or may not carry over to next month)

Mail in Rebates, for items that must be purchased by Nov. 30th:

Pennzoil - Buy 5 quarts of oil or get a Pennzoil Oil Change and get 1 of 3 free items
Scotch - Free Sack Pack wyb participating Scotch Items
Marcal & Disney Earth DVD $5 Rebate
Autolite- $2 rebate per Sparkplug up to $32
AmeriGas- $3 Rebate when you Exchange any Propane Cylinder (we did this one!)

Question about rebates ... I purchased and received a rebate in November. However, I purchased two more times to receive rebates in November. Can I submit them but not request the check until the end of December? I requested a check before I knew you could only do it once a month.

You would have to do your request by mail. I am not sure if it would work to the same address. I have made the same mistake and I had them send my request to my mothers home to make sure I got the rebate.

So if I make purchases with rebates in the same month I have already received a check, those purchases will not be accepted? I wonder if I can open another account using my other email address and try to do it on there ???

So that did not work. It tracks the numbers. I will try submitting by mail and using my neighbor's address. Thanks for the tip. I will definitely know better next time. :-)

I was wondering that myself. I am in PA and while I am able to use all the shopping lists for Rite Aid, CVS and Walgreens we have none of the grocery stores. I would really appreciate lists like this for Shoprite, Mr Z's and Walmart.

I'm just starting with the SCR and I'm a little confused. It says to submit for Nov rebate, but on the rite aid site it says I have until 12/28 to submit. I don't want to miss out on my first check, so don't want to mess it up - any help would be great!

The SCR can be submited until that date but once the month is over which is Saturday(tonight)if you have all your receipts in hand then submit. Just note not to accept the one for the gift certificate until you have reached either the time limit or money limit since it is still going on for a few more weeks. I hope this helps.

Hi Jenny Don't have a clue where to post this so just wanted to tell you that you and all your hard work don't go unappreciated!! You are one of things I am most grateful for this year as you have taught me how to save so much money!!! Stupid, stupid, stupid me just gave up my 7.99 Benevia rebate trying to get a silly 1.00 rebate on Ivory soap that was put on sale too soon.After the soap was exchanged, I forgot to get the trans # off of the original receipt. Once again my inability to thoroughy think things through has costed me money. Hopefully I can find a small amount of solace in the free Air Wick Freshmatic Starter kit and Toblerone chocolate i got today.......but still, $7.99????? GEEEEEEZZZZZ TAMMY!!!!! *hitting myself upside the head*

I have done things like that several times. I find it diffacult to stay completely organized with all the different coupons, sales,lits, etc. It can get stressful! At times I find myself getting a little overwhelmed. So, beleieve me you are not the only one if that makes you feel any better. I try to look at it that we are able to get so many free things anyway that it really all evens it self out in the end :) Take -care.

Just know we have all done something like that. Another deal will come along and will probably be even better. Just focus on all the money you have saved and will save!! :)

Yeah, it's not worth it to get too frustrated about mess-ups. Think of alllll the money you are saving overall! It's worth it even if there is a mess-up now and again.
