I just signed up and it is only 30 days for me....but hey it gets me through Christmas as well....hope I find some great deals! I wish I had known this before I ordered a camera last week....it still isn't here.`I actually couldn't find an option for not automatically renewing. I see a button that says do not upgrade....is that what I am suppose to do? If I do that now, will it cancel my membership?

It won't cancel the trial if you do it now.

Even once you are past the free trial, it is a great service to have, if you use Amazon much during the year (I do). I've got friends who order on my account, and help pay the Prime yearly cost.

Mine was just 30 days, and then it would switch over to the $79.00/year membership fee.

I signed up for this last week! Definitely worth it! I got free 2-day shipping on my daughter's Birthday gift (A Wagon) that other retailers are charging almost $50.00 to ship! Awesome deal!

Oh... and... did I mention it ships in 2-days!?!? Large items like this were estimated to take FOREVER via regular shipping, and it would be well after her Birthday before it arrived. Sorry... I'm just a little excited about this one!

I did this last year at Christmas time & it was WONDERFUL!! I had no problems cancelling, and many times my orders would be there the next day! I did 75% of my shopping online last year through Amazon...I only wish I could do it again!!
