Kraft Food & Family Magazine & Cookbook $5.60

I have gotten lots of emails asking if Kraft Food and Family Magazine is worth the new yearly cost.   I would say that the normal price of $13.99 is very steep.  It is mostly one very large ad for Kraft products so it is hard to want to pay for it at all.

That said it does have wonderful recipes and well… coupons (usually $5-$15 per month).

A Better Deal

Right now on HSN get:

Kraft Food & Family 1-Year  Subscription with Cookbook
for $6.99 (with free shipping).

Use coupon code C56574 for 15% off any order if you are a new customer.

To make it better go through ebates and get 6% cashback (get $5 for signing up if you are new)

After coupon code and cash back:

$5.60 for 1 yr

or

$10.44 for 2 yrs!

(thanks Adele!)

How to order on Ebates:

Since I'm already an HSN customer I didn't get the additional 15% off. But I ordered anyway. I used to love getting this mag. I'd rather have recipes in print instead of having to look em up on computer. Just a treat to myself. Thanks! I used mypoints instead of ebates since I've been racking up pts. for free gift cards to Rainforest Cafe for our next Disney World trip in the hopefully near future.

I just ordered this and signed up thru ebates. If I went to the HSN site through the ebates site, how will they register the cash back? Do I have to wait for it? How do you get the cash back?

i have enjoyed getting this as a free magazine, but I am not interested in paying for it. As was already mentioned, all of their recipes are avaliable on the web site and to be honest, I have tried many of the recipes and my family has only liked one of them. I havent tried the desserts, just the meals but many of them werent appetizing enough to finish. Save your money and look online if you want the recipes.

Mine was $5.94 ... but still an AWESOME deal! Thanks for sharing!!
  • Jenny
The extra 30 cents comes in from the cashback later if you went through ebates.
  • Alena
Did you order it on ebates? How did you do it?
  • I debated on renewing too, I was sad to see that they're now charging for it, I already mailed in my renewal, I think I paid a little more to get two years of subscription and the book than the price you have listed for one year plus the book. Oh well, wish I had waited to see your deal listed, that's okay though, now I know!

This was a request for Christmas for two people. So even though it isn't the same as free - at least I was able to get a better deal than originally out there. Thanks.

I just sent in my renewal this weekend. I debated a lot about paying for this magazine after getting it for free for so long, but I honestly did like the recipes - many of them were HUGE hits with my picky kids. In the end, I hated that I had to now pay for this magazine, but sometimes the coupons are pretty good too (bugt I agree, those in that last issue were severely lacking!).

I enjoyed it is a free magazine, but I will not be renewing. Since only 4 issues come a year, the cost will be almost $2 an issue without the cash back. That is a huge increase. I did like the recipes, but every single one of them is on there website. Oh well, I did enjoy it while it lasted.

HELP!!! I've tried to order it tru ebates, but can't find a store that sells Kraft Food & Family Magazine, how do I buy it and how will I get that deal?

    Thanks!
  • Amy G
I'm having trouble finding also.. hope to get help soon!
  • Andrea
I got this free for 3 years too, then I got a "final issue" envelope in the mail offering me 2 years for the price of one. So if you get the magazine already you might get an envelope in the mail with the same offer. I think it was 12.99 for 2 years.

I used to get this magazine for free a few years ago....It is worth paying for!! Excellent fast and easy recipes! I will be ordering this....I miss this magazine :)

This is not available on stands. It is available from Kraft only.
  • Jennifer
Yes, I know it is only available from Kraft....Years ago, they used to send them out for free....I got three years for free
  • I haven't seen many coupons lately. I think there was one in the most recent issue. Kind of disappointing.
  • Jenny
The November issue that was the last for so many of us was dismal but as I do matches it looks like the December issue had a ton. Maybe they were holding back to give them to only those that paid :(
  • That's good to know. I think I got mine free, because I don't remember paying for it. It stinks that they don't offer the same deals for those that get the trial vs subscription.
