Kroger does not accept internet coupons over $1. That is probably the problem. Nor do they accept "free" item coupons from the internet.

Heather, this is the completed mail.

General Coupon Policy:
Only accepts two (2) Internet coupons per manufacturer, per product, per visit, per day.
The store manager has the right to accept, decline, or limit the use of ANY coupon upon view.
The store manager has the right to limit the Quantity of coupons/items used/purchased in a single transaction, by a single customer, or in a single day
Does Not accept expired manufacturer coupons.
Limit One (1) manufacturer coupon per item.
Amount refunded cannot exceed the price of the item.
Customer is responsible for tax on all items even "Free" items.

PAH: (Print At Home)
Internet Coupon Policy ALL Banner Stores!! We only accept printable coupons if they scan properly at checkout. We do not accept "FREE product" printable coupons, with no purchase requirement. Buy-one-get-one-free coupons and other values that have a purchase requirement are acceptable but will be MUCH less common than traditional value-off coupons. We do not accept coupons for more than about 75% of a product's value without advance notice. Legitimate PAH coupons will not be for a high value relative to the cost of the item. For example, a $2 off coupon will be acceptable for a product that normally sells for $5 or more, but a $2 off printable coupon for a product that sells for $2.25 is unlikely to be legitimate. Coupons will be rejected if they appear out of proportion or blurry, or are obvious duplicates. Legitimate PAH coupons are never copied, sold or traded. Nearly all coupons are "non-transferable" meaning they should not be photocopied or scanned and distributed to others. Coupons will be rejected if they appear to have been altered in any way. PAH coupons can be checked for validity at http://www.printcoupons.com.

PLEASE Post the whole email here!!! I would love to see what they sent you. For the first time, I have been having serious issues with Kroger taking my coupons... And I have gone to several stores... I will not be going back, because it is too much hassel to cut/print coupons go to the store get all my groceries and then be told they can not take my coupons!!! Please, post!!

Are you sure that Kroger takes expired coupons? I would like to use my Bic Soleil but they expired already. Is there a limit to how many days past expiration?

Thanks!

Couldn't find the steamfresh coupons, if I had, this would've been even better but I did pretty awesome on my third trip. They missed 2 of my coupons, I had 41, there are only 39 on my receipt. I'll probably go in and see if I can get them to give me my $2 back, but it might seem pretty silly to them (and hard for them to believe that I know there was something missing). I spent $6.16 (should've been $4.16) and saved $120 (should've been $122)!!! Saved 95%!

that seems very strange. I use coupons to "buy" free, or almost free, items all of the time. If it weren't for being able to get lots of stuff for very little money, I would never shop at Kroger.

Last time I went to Kroger I had problems with my coupons. After the cashier called somebody form the costumer service they told me they couldn't accept all of them, and she was mean, she told me to go to Publix, that they may accep those.

So I decided to email Kroger and they send me the coupon policy. Jennifer, I'd like to email you what they send me, because some of them doesn,t make sense to me.

Like this:

-"We do not accept coupons for more than about 75% of a product's value without advance notice. Legitimate PAH coupons will not be for a high value relative to the cost of the item. For example, a $2 off coupon will be acceptable for a product that normally sells for $5 or more, but a $2 off printable coupon for a product that sells for $2.25 is unlikely to be legitimate". I think that is for the Internet coupons, but it does mean that there's not a chance to get any item for free or almost free.

Where can I email you?

Thanks

If you are in the SE region, you may have checked out at a register with a non-operating Catalina machine. The Krusteaz was still printing when I checked out just before midnight last night.

The Kroger stores in the Nashville area (I'm in Murfreesboro) do not accept competitor's coupons. Publix is the only grocery store in my area that does.
