I found a moneymaker today. It looks like an advantage buy, but I don't see it in the flyer. Not sure how long it will last. Apple & Eve organic juice boxes are 3/$4.

There's a $1/2 coupon in the Publix Greenwise magazine (manufacturer Q) and then there's a $1 off Apple & Eve Publix Q in the Winter Savings magazine.

Buy two, use two Publix Qs and one manufacturer Q for $3 off $2.66. If your store allows overage as mine does, then that's a $0.34 money maker!
  • Amy B.
Was that price for the 8 pk of juice boxes specified on the Publix coupon? I thought they were normally around $2.99. If so, that is a spectacular deal!
  • Parker
Ack! Honest mistake! I somehow missed the "8-pack" specification on the coupon. I think I glanced at the picture and it looked like the 3-pack to me in my haste. I'm not even sure that they sell the 8-pack at my store because I don't remember seeing any other. It honestly didn't dawn on me that there was more than one size package. Not sure why! Well, I feel badly for not following the rules, but whatever the 8-pack price is, I bet it's still a good deal to save $3 on 2!

Lexington, SC in-store special: 100 count Vanity Fair Dinner napkins BOGO @ $2.19. They were out so I got a raincheck. This is one of my luxuries...napkins, toilet paper and paper towels I like to be hearty :-)
  • Janey
The customer service man walked back with me to the aisle with a raincheck in hand, copied the info off the tag on the shelf.

I have been in other stores that would only write a raincheck if the item was listed in the circular, but that didn't happen this time thankfully!!
  • Stephanie
Our Publix on Trolley Rd. in Summerville was out of the B1G1 batteries.

However, they wouldn't write a raincheck b/c the price wasn't advertised in the ad. Have you all ever heard of that before? Even with the sign up by the batteries, they wouldn't write raincheck.

    Is this in their policy?
  • Janey
I have had that happen, though I can't recall what store it was. And it wouldn't matter b/c I'm in the midlands. But just yesterday, my local Publix wrote me a raincheck for an in-store special. Could be a different store policy, or employees differently informed/misinformed. You could ask your local store manager.
  • Beth
For those with Krogers...they have their batteries on sale at $1.88 (4 pk), so with $1.00 off, they are only $.88.
  • Amanda
Do any Charleston and surrounding area Publix accept competitor coupons?
  • Parker
I've never been to a Publix in the Chas. area that doesn't take competitor qs. I usually frequent the W. Ashley/Johns Island store (17 at Main Road), but also the one in James Island and the ones in Mt Pleasant occasionally. I've also been to the other one in W Ashley and used competitor qs as well.
  • Stephanie
I think every Publix is different. But, the Publix on Trolley Rd. in Summerville (suburb of Charleston) does accept competitor coupons. I've also heard that the Publix on James Island accepts most all competitor coupons as well.
  • Kristi
Our Publix (Bradenton, FL) has only C and D batteries for B1G1 but the AA and AAA had the pink Publix peelies for $2.00 off and these can still be combined with the manufacturer Energizer coupon ($1), making them $1.99. OTHER DEALS: Our Publix had out a new flyer "Winter Family Savings" and there were lots of coupons in there. There was a coupon for $1 off an 8oz brick of Philidelphia cream cheese that I combined with a $1 off Publix printable coupon found here: http://print.coupons.com/Couponweb/Offers.aspx?.... Combined this makes the cream cheese free.
I also used a $1.00 off Oreos in the "Winter Family Savings" book combined with the $1.00 off Oreos from the website mentioned above and that makes Oreos $1.19 at our Publix. We eat those a lot and rarely ever see them on sale, so that was a good deal for us. Another deal was that the 1 pound of Velveeta cheese is B1G1 and there are $1.00 off coupons making it $3.99 for the two but there was also a tearpad of coupons above the velveeta cheese that had coupons for $1.50 off any bag of chips "including store brand" when you buy 1 pound of velveeta cheese and 2 cans of ro-tel. The ro-tel is B1G1 also and I had a coupon from one of my All You magazines that was for buy 2 and get one free.... so it made one of my B1G1s free i.e. instead of $1.39 for 2, it was $1.39 for 4. And then we used the $1.50 off the doritos that were also B1G1.... making them $.50 a bag. It was a little more complicated but a really good deal.
  • cynthia cameron
don't know is this has been noted before but there is a printable $5.00 coupon off a $20.00 order available at save-a-lot.com.I used it at Publix today.
  • Dana
Publix in Simpsonville, SC will not honor save-a-lot. They do not accept Target or Food Lion coupons either.
  • Ann
Rotel was B1G1 in Charleston, SC!
  • Tiya
The Publix on Clemson Blvd in Anderson had a meeting this morning and they are no longer doubling if it says do not double or triple. There are so many changes to the coupon policy it is starting to get confusing. Publix is still the best though!
  • Deb - Clemson
Thanks for verifying what I thought was going to happen. Some of the cashiers at the Publix in Anderson started supressing the DND/DNT coupons a couple of weeks ago. The Publix in Easley is closer to me, so I will definately be going there now.
  • Mandi
For those needing AA or AAA don't forget about the deal at Target. 2 packs of AA or AAA Rayovacs are in the dollar spot for $1. There were a couple inserts that had $1 off any rayovac batteries. I got 12 packs for free :)
  • Tracie
What date were the Rayovacs in the paper or how long ago was it?
    Thanks!
  • elizabeth
Love my Publix(Forest Drive Cola SC).... usually ! Kind of peeved b/c not taking Target coupons as had before. Publix co website only staes that it is each store's manangements decision as to coupon policy. I hate getting up to the register w/ a slew of groceries and not being allowed to count those coupons in. Is this a recent change in policy b/c a few weeks ago the cashier took a Target coupon ?
  • Rita
I shop at that store also and they have never taken a Target coupon from me, only other grocery store coupons. Guess you've been lucky.
  • Lynn
I just bought a 100 pack of AA batteries from ABC Distributing for $24.95, which would be the equivalent of $2 for a 8-pack.

    http://www.abcdistributing.com/home/catalog/cat...
  • Christy
how mch was the shipping? I love ABC and LTD, I just hate when they charge an arm and a leg for the shipping...
  • DJ
Goose Creek px also has Rotel BOGO at $.69ea. Goes great with the Velveeta they have on sale!
  • The Publix at Piedmont in Marietta, GA aa aaa were not bogo.
But I didn't see any C or D. Next time I will check.
  • amy
Just went to my publix last night and found out that they have changed a certain aspect of their coupon policy. Bought the frosting and used the 50cent internet coupon and she pushed some button that said it suppressed the extra 50 cent off. She said since it had do not double or triple on it that they could not double it. So, I just told her to take it off and I would buy it somewhere else. I noticed this happened to another lady on here and she suggested calling the corporate to let them know how we feel about their new policy change.
  • Lana
I had my B crocker potato coupons supressed at the Duncan SC store last week. I too had the items removed from my order. I used them at Bi-Lo this week for free pouches. This lack of a policy is really getting to be a problem. I emailed corporate complaining about how frustrating it is to have the policy constantly changing. I did not give my name, etc because I don't want to be labeled a problem customer. I plan to call the stores in my area this week and ask about this weeks policy before deciding which store to shop at.
  • Tracie
    Lana-

In my experience it is hit or miss on coupons. There are several moving parts. The coupon policy differs by store, Manager, cashier and even the price of the item. I have learned that if they won't comply with what I know to be their coupon policy, I just have them void them the item.
I had a cashier tell me yesterday that I could only use one coupon per transaction. I told him that I was buying 5 different things and using 3 different coupons. He said, no it is one coupon per shopping transaction. Imagine how much shopping us couponers would have to do then!!!
  • Jess
I use to work for publix and usually telling corporate about an issue you have helps...can't hurt right? They are all about customer service so they usually try to help customers in any way. Doesn't hurt to try.
  • Jennifer
Any question emailed to corporate goes right back to the Store Manager. You are better off speaking to them first & if they don't resolve the issue then email corporate.
  • MonaLisa
I calledorporate and they passed me on to the district manager. I had already talked to him on another occasion so he really did not want to help me. I am now shopping at another store. (All the people I have talked to though have said that if the coupons states that they will not double them) They dont get paid the amount they double.
  • MonaLisa
I have started to write out the lists with out doubling and if they do end up letting them go through(double) I will just have saved more than I expected.
  • Brittany
I can not get the coupon printer to work, any suggestions?
  • tiffany m
I also noticed in targets toybook that I got in this past sundays paper there was a coupon in there
  • Andrea
My Publix in Greenville, SC has Nestle Quick chocolate and strawberry drinks 10/$10. I paired them with a $0.50 coupon and they were free after the coupon was doubled.
  • Amanda
Hey my Publix in North Fl only did the c and d batteries b1g1- But I was able to match this with the target.
  • Jerri
i tried printing the coupon and it said i have already printed my limit. i haven't printed it at all. help.
  • Christine
There was also a Q in the paper and you can print the target Q, as many as you like.
  • Megan
It probably means that the campaign is over. With the BOGO deal at Publix, lots of people have probably been printing them. I get that message a lot if I wait until well after news about a sale has gotten around before I try to print a coupon.
  • me
nope still printing - I just got 2.
  • Stacy
Only size D batteries are BOGO here (LaGrange, GA). I'm with Mina - I need the smaller sizes, too!
  • Mina
Okay, I should never get excited before I actually see a deal for myself. Not only were our q's just for .75, like the others have pointed out, only the C&D varieties are BOGO. It's the AAA & AA that we use like crazy here.

There IS an unadvertised BOGO on Rotel.
  • Amanda
My store had the bogo of C and D batteries. However I noticed the 8AA or 8AAA packs were BONUS with 2 free batteries. The advantage flyer had them at $4.99. I used the manu and the target coupon and got one pack for $2.99. This may not be a "steal" as much as the BOGO but since my child's toys mainly take the AA I figured I should stock pile that for Christmas! :)

Oh, Our publix DID NOT HAVE CHEX for $1.66 a bag. :( Bummer.

    Jacksonville, FL Locations.
  • Trudy
Publix at the Landings in Sarasota, FL had the C & D 4-packs B1G1 $5.99.
  • Kristin
COLUMBIA, SC- Forest Drive Store has B1G1 on Energizer Max C Battery (4 pack)for $5.99. The sign says the B1G1 deal is only on C Battery only....still a great deal with the $1.00 off coupon linked above!
  • Meredith
Publix in Tallahassee, FL has BOGO on energizer batteries, but only the "C" and "D" size.
However, the 8-pk of AA batteries is on Advertised Savings for $4.99. I had a $3.50 off coupon from the Family Style magazine and a $1.00 MFC, for a grand total of $0.49!
Also....there are some packs, specially marked, with 2 free batteries, so I actually got 10 AAs for 49 cents.
  • Laura
That is awesome! I'm in Pensacola and hoping my Publix has the same deal b/c I think we're in the same district as Tallahassee. Thanks for the reminder on the Family Savings coupons!
  • Aaron
The Publix in Oakwood, GA has the BOGO deal! Only C and D batteries. It makes them about $2.50 a piece with the coupon...great deal.
  • covergirl foundation was $3.19 at my store. I used the bogo face coupon from 10/11 I think and a $1.00 coupon. Paid $2.19 for both!!!
  • Jenn
Anyone know if Athens, AL, has the batteries B1G1?
  • calebs.momma
The Publix in N. Charleston at Ashley Phosphate and Dorchester have the BOGO Energizer deals. They also have BOGO with Duracell as well. I was able to use the manufacturer coupons and 2 target coupons and 8 D batteries for $2.00. Happy shopping!
  • Stacy
Thank you, calebs.momma! That's my Publix!
  • Dawn
Five Forks Simpsonville store had 4-pack C and D batteries B1G1, but not AA or AAA or 9V.
  • Aimee
Easley, SC only has D and C as well! I need AAA!!!!
  • Lilian
Does anyone know if either Kennesaw or Acworth, GA have the BOGO at Publix?
  • Lebanon Tn is doing it
  • Jennifer
Anybody know if they are doing this in Greenville, SC?
  • Nan
    McBee Station has 4pk C or D BOGO $5.99
  • Laura B
I went to the Publix store on Wade Hampton Blvd in Greenville SC last night and didn't see any energizer batteries that were B1G1.
  • Ashley
Not the Publix on Pelham Rd. either. New to this couponing thing, but does Publix in Greenville, SC double coupons automatically? Even if they say "no doubling"? Thanks!
  • MW
I used the 3.00 publix coupon, the 1.00 off Target coupon, and a 2 free bag wyb batteries the other day on the AA 16 pack - regular price is around $9 so that was still a good deal I thought.

    16 batteries and 2 bags for $5
  • Lyn
Where did you get the free bag coupon when you buy batteries?
  • Stacey
My Publix store in Lexington SC had specially marked pink edition Energizer batteries that had Publix peelie coupons on them. It was the same coupon that was in the Yellow Adv ad but these don't expire until late November.
  • CouponNERD
Stacey - Which Lex location? I might have to drive over from Columbia....
  • Stacey
The store in Lexington on Sunset Blvd/378. I was in there on Friday to get the batteries and use my Yellow Adv q for the bags since that q expired on 11/06. All of the pink battery packages had the peelie with the later exp. date. By the way, the coupon says to save up to $2 on two reusable bags so I asked them if I could use the $2 credit towards the insulated bag ($2.49) since I already have plenty of the regular shopping bags and they didn't have a problem with that.
  • Amanda
I believe that coupon expired on Nov 6th...it was an older yellow advantage flyer.
  • Kristina from Kennesaw
There were also some specially marked packages that had this coupon on them. The packaging had pink on it for Breast Cancer Awareness last month. You might be able to still find some if the q's didn't already expire on them. Hope this helps!
  • Kelley
I also had a $3.00 off publix coupon in my Family Style magazine.
  • Alyssa
Thanks Kelley! I would have forgotten about the Family Style coupon. Mine was for $3.50 on the Energizer Max AA 16 ct pkg, but maybe that will still be a good buy when matched with the Target and manuf coupon.
  • Amanda
I believe that coupon was only for 16 AA batteries?
  • Lyn
Does anyone know if the Loganville/Snellville area has this deal?
  • Carla
Yes, the new one in Bethlehem has "select sizes" on sale BOGO...I called them earlier but have not been able to get by there yet.
  • Char
Does anyone know if the store in Summerville SC still has this deal? thanks
  • mindy
summerville (both locations i visit) both had the energizer sale on, BUT only for C and D batteries...which are useless for us. I was hoping to snag some AA or AAA, but they are not included in the sale.
  • AmyN
My Publix in North Central Fl only had C and D on bogo.
  • Brittany
I went to the store in Goose Creek, they had the batteries bogo and I'm pretty sure it was all sizes. I did get d batteries so I could be wrong, but it looked like it was all.
  • Amanda
I have some extra deals...in my area - Jacksonville, FL - the glade candles are bogo - $3.49 for two 4 oz. As your website points out you can use the $1.50 off two making it $2.00 for 2 candles. However, in my local Walgreen November Savings booklet - there is a couon for $1 off any 2 glade products!!! So that means you can get the candles for 50cents each!!!

Also I noticed the SC Johnson's rebate states limit 3 rebates per household...so you can use this rebate again on the glade candles or something else! :)

I also have another link for Floridians only (or residences of New York, Oregon, and Missori) - http://www.morefrompotatoes.com/promo - download a $5 rebate - buy 3-5lb bags of potatoes ($2.49 each) and get $5 back by mail. That means you pay $7.50 and get back $5 - paying $2.50 for a total of 15 pounds of potatoes!!! Awesome for Freezing.

I also noticed in my area head/shoulders and pantene are 3 for $10. Again, if your publix accepts Walgreens coupons - there was $1 off EACH bottle in the November Savings Booklet!

Oh, also I'm going to check out about light bulbs - certain GE are advantage buy for $4.99 each - on Smartsource - Target published $2 off EACH one and then there were some manufacturer coupons out there from my sunday papers! ($1.25 off and $1.50 off) So I can get some light bulbs for cheap. :)

I love this website and publix! Thanks for helping stretch my dollar even farther! Happy Shopping.
  • queen
I will be in Jacksonville, FL for Thanksgiving. Which store are you referring to and will they take all competitor coupons.
  • Natalie
Thanks SO MUCH for the tater rebate!
  • You mentioned about some extra deals at Public in Jax, FL. Did I understand you that "your" Publix takes Walgreen's coupons? If so, which Publix? Here in Orange Park, my Publix won't take Walgreen's or CVS. Thanks
  • Carolin
I'm fron Jacksonville, FL too. Which Publix do you shop at. I'm having a difficult time finding a Publix that will take Wags or CVS coupons. I live in Riverside. So I usually go to the one in 5 points or on 17.
  • Debbie
I have also used the CVS coupons at the Publix on Normandy and have never had any problems with them accepting them.
  • Carolin
Thank You! I'm guessing that they will take the Walgreens 5/25 coupon from this week's ad. If I buy $100 worth of groceries do you think they would allow me to use 4 coupons? Do they let you use Publix and Comp coupons example if my groceries are $100 before coupons would they let me use 4 Wags coupons $5 off of $25 and 2 publix $5 off of $50. This sounds too good to be true just wondering if you have ever tried this. Thanks again.
  • DENISE
I'm in Gainesville and my Publix takes multiple 5/25 coupons from CVS/Walgreens as long as you spend enough money to cover the coupons.
  • Usually they will only take (1) $/$$ coupon. Just show the cashier the coupons and ask first. If they say no, just politely ask to do four separate transactions, or do what I do.. head straight for the Customer Service desk and ask for the manager! That always takes the headaches of guessing if the deal is "do-able" or not! :)
  • Amanda
Mine is the Normandy Blvd location - by I-295 and Normandy Blvd. exit. The manager is very nice there.
  • Ashley in FL
My Publix on St Augustine Road and 95 accepts Walgreens, CVS, Target, and other grocery store coupons. They're all VERY nice.
  • Mina
Energizer does not love Columbia. Our q's are only .75/1.
  • Mina
Aha! THAT's the kind of deal I like! The possibility of getting batteries at a good price is more important to me than any sales on widescreen TV's or game systems. I wish I had more coupons.
  • Christine
I also found a target coupon for $1.00 off energizer batteries or flashlight. It was with all of the target printables, listed with the toys. Exp. date 11/25/09. Hope these are on sale BOGO @ my store.
