If this deal is like the All You magazine deal then you when you purchase the Wii and Wii fit Amazon will send you via email notification that you have a credit on your Amazon account for the $50.
OK…I think I am wrong about the notification through email. When you read the details it states that they will mail you the $50 gift card from amazon. I am sorry I have never done that. Has anyone else?
What they do is that they apply the 50 to the order which is what brings the price down to 289. I was confused too, but that is what they seem to have done. If I receive a gift card for 50 in addition to the 50 credit on my order, I will be VERY surprised!!
No, the price isn’t brought down to $289. You pay $289 for both (Which is still cheaper than competition) and you get $50 credit or certificate from Amazon to buy more items. Make the deal even sweetr by applying for the Amazon Chaze Visa and get $30 MORE off your order, making it $259 + a Free $50 Gift Card :) That’s what I did.

Target and Walmart both have Wii Fit on sale for $119, so I’m not sure this is a deal at all?
I think it is a great deal considering the Wii alone is $199 at WalMart.
If the Wii fit is $119 at Target and Walmart that is high…..this Wii fit plus is only $89 and the game system is $199 that is a great price.
The Wii and Wii Fit is NOT $240 as stated in the title. It is $289.98 which is the normal price. The only difference is you get the $50 gift card. Which is great if you shop at Amazon regularly, not so great if you don’t.
Well, either way, I think it’s a good deal! I would use the $50 certificate to get an extra remote, accessory or another game… still beats the competition!! So it’s “like” getting it for $240 and having $50 to play with. Sweet!!
I agree it is a good deal too! And no tax… which for me here in NC would be about $21 and free shipping. I’ll take it! i agree you could order another controller once the gift certificate comes, they are about $35. Thanks Jenny, this whole post has been a blessing to my Christmas budget!
