(I have my $10 gift card from the board games last week that I think will go nicely with this)

In the summer I tried to use printable coupons on leapster games and some board games and my Toys R Us (Greenville, SC)would not accept it (I did not have any other coupons for the record). They stated that they ONLY accept Toys R Us coupons. I rarely go in there and have not tried since, but just a head’s up. I would check out their coupon policy online for some backup if in fact there is no mention of it.
Our TRU in Montgomery, AL accepted the printable coupons on the Snow White & Tinkerbell DVD’s.
My TRU in Hixson TN accepts printables, I used a handful just this weekend. :) I only wish they would accept competitor Qs lol!
I used the printable coupon at the Greenville SC store about an hour ago with no problem! Maybe they changed their policy. HTH
Yea! Hopefully they had enough backlash… I will try again! Sometimes it is just not worth the anticipated hassle…
Thanks! This site is great!! I still have my $10 gift card also. I was going to use it with the $5 pony coupon last week and never got around to it. Glad I didn’t now! My 4 yr old daughter loves the ponies. Another few Christmas cheap!
Hi Jenny,
There’s another way to work the deal that gets you two more ponies and makes the ponies about 10 cents cheaper/pony. Here it is:
Buy 6 My Little Ponies ($6.49 x 6 = $38.94)
2 Free Ponies (6.49 x 2 = $12.98)
$5 off printable
Total = $25.96 or $3.49/pony
Thanks Jenny!
Hey, Jenny, it’s Princess Kayla! Now just if you could find a deal on Narley.
Just as an FYI, I e-mailed Toys R Us this morning and asked if they accept internet printable manufacturer’s coupons. They response was that they only accept Toys R Us coupons, but they have the right to refuse other coupons. Not sure why they told me that, but it opended the door for me to use the printable coupon I guess. I live in Greenville, SC and have used coupons there before, but my friends and family have recently experienced issues using non-Toys R Us coupons. I might try to go to Target and use the new price matching policy because I know they will accept my coupon.
In the Target list on exclusions they do not match buy/get/free deals. Just read it several times after the Alphapets leap frog failed deal this past week.
Thank you for letting me know! It saves me a trip to Target :-)
When used with the $10 gift card this would be a great toys for tots gift deal! :)
I did not get the gift card for the hasbro games. They took it off as a vendor coupon -$10.
Thanks for the heads up on the deal. My local Toys R Us let me use the coupon. I called in advance, but without seeing it she couldn’t say yes, or no. When I took it to her at Customer service she said “absolutely, we take those”. I ended up getting 6 ponies. After all was said and done I paid 9.52 for them (25.96 for the ponies; $5/20 coupon; $10 gift card; $3 coupon from Toy’s R Us for my daughters birthday) Made for a smoking deal! And my daughter is enthralled with them! :D YEAH! :D
