My mom got a Georgia Times today and there was a P&G insert. I wonder if there will be one next week too?

I subscribe to the paper just for the coupons, like I am sure most of you do. I cannot stand paying for the paper if there are no coupons!!! I would rather them skip delivering it to me those days and extend my subscription a couple of weeks. Has anyone tried to complain to their paper about this? I pay $2.25 for each paper (Richmond, VA), which I think is a lot since my family in Rochester, NY pays $1.50. They can also buy them at the Dollar store for $1.00, which they don't do around here either. What a bummer!

The Publix flyer in the 12/20 AJC paper has a $5 of $50 or more coupon.

The is All Of You magf for the addixts. Although December is packed with q's, but Jan issue does not have many.

Just as a warning, Publix will not have a Penny Item this weekend. Instead they will have a $5 off coupon for spending (I think) $50 or more.

I am glad too! My arm gets a break this weekend! By the way, if you buy your newspaper at the store and just throw it in the trash, try to recycle it instead...I cannot stand when I go to Walgreens on a Sunday and the trash can out front is filled with Sunday's paper that nobody wants...

So this means I'll actually read my paper this Sunday instead of feverishly clipping coupons, lol!

FWIW I was told by someone at my local paper that P&G will ALWAYS be the last weekend of the month.

I'm not sure if this is a national thing or not, but in Georgia the P&G insert on the 27th is supposed to feature Special Olympics athletes and for every coupon you use it will give back 3 cents to Special Olympics Georgia, so USE YOUR P&G'S DURING JANUARY :) Publix is also doing their torch icon sales for SOGA in Jan. so we can all afford to pick up one of those since we save so much thanks to Southern Savers :) THANKS!

Didn't the AJC put the P&G insert in their Thanksgiving paper? Wonder if they will do the same with this insert?

I bought the paper, no coupons took it back no P&G coupons and so I gave up. My sister-in-law said she experienced the same thing.

Well darn! I just got started with couponing last week and I was really looking forward to building my stash! I guess I'll just have to be patient.

If you put your paper on hold does it extend your subscription by that many weeks?

It does with my paper. However, make sure to check that box, in mine it offers to sent it to a school or extend your subscription.

I was told by a manager at Publix that there would be a $5 off $50 purchase at Publix in the paper this weekend. There will not be a coupon for a penny item. I live in Montgomery, AL.

I live in the Montgomery area too, but I normally buy the B'ham paper b/c it has more coupons. Is that $5 off of $50 running in the Montg. Advertiser and do you know if it is only going to be good on Sun since there won't be a penny item?

I think I saw somewhere coupons would not be in paper for two weeks but not sure.

Piggly Wiggly will be having a 10.00 off coupon in the Post & courier this Sunday which Publix will take.

What area are you in? I live in New Bern NC, and I am very interested in the $10 off coupon, we have two PW's close by so you would think that there would be on in my paper?(Sun Journal).

Hmm - I got a Red Plum insert in this week's mail - live in a small town and on Tues or Weds we get store ads and a smaller version of the Red Plum.
I would have thought that meant there would be another in the Charlotte Observer?
