Do you have any of the december 26th 2009 P&G coupon books?? I only got one this weekend and that was because my sister just happened to buy the weekend newpaper. Otherwise, i wouldn’t have got one.

Did anyone find the P&G insert in the Sunday paper? I checked both the AJC and the Gainesville Times and could not find the insert in either paper – I was very disappointed!

In the St. Pete Times, the Pantene coupon in the P&G insert was for $3/2 Pantene products, not $1/2. :-)

You can use the coupons that don’t specify a size at Target on the items in their travel/trial size section. But, the cashier will often need to adjust the coupon down a penny if they are priced at .99. Initially the register will beep and some cashiers don’t know they need to manually adjust and may give you a hard time, but it is their policy to do so. You will just need to remind them of this. You can find the policy online.

I bought the Greenville News today & mine also DID NOT have any coupons in them unless you count the (1) 75 cent coupon for Kleenex that is in the parade magazine. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!!!!!

I called a friend and she said hers had it so I went on up. . .needed the Publix Penny Item today and they did have the P&G in there but they did not have the double bundles so I did pay extra for my papers.

Has anyone checked the AJC today for the inserts. . .I was sorely disappointed the Sunday after Thanksgiving when I opened my “insertless” papers. Thankfully Publix gave me my money back when I talked to customer service.

My husband just brought me home two Spartanburg papers… and there are no inserts in them whatsoever. I don’t even like reading the paper… very disappointed!

Sometimes things turn out to be free because there is a store coupon as well as a manufacturer’s coupon on B1G1 items. If you shop the drug stores, it can be free because you get ECB, RR, or Rite Aid rebate to cover the amount you spent.

We are traveling to Florida tomorrow and would like to get several Atlanta Journal newspapers for the inserts. We will be traveling US1 all the way to Jacksonville. We cross several interstates along the way.

Could someone fill me in as to where I can purchase the Atlanta Journal?

I noticed the $1.00 off Olay cleansers. As Jenny put in her CVS weekly deals, they will be $6.99 each. If you still have any $3 coupons from last months P&G, that’s even better! Olay has a rebate on their website for buying any 2 Regenerist products and get a $15.00 rebate back. Buy 2 Regenerist cleansers and use your coupons and any ECB you’ve got and do the rebate. Good way to make some money this week!

Actually, it is better when they wait or put them in before the holiday b/c you will get them anyway. The only difference is you have to buy more papers this way instead of getting them all at once. That’s why I always love the inserts (usually) after a holiday b/c they are loaded up. This makes you buy a paper just to get P&G when they could put it in when RP and SS run instead.

Where I am, we get millions of them when PG decides to include them in home delivery fliers with other store weekly fliers. I have a lot of buildings around me and the delivery guys dump sacks of them in the lobby of buildings. It is so saddening to see that almost all of them go straight to garbage. Not many people look into fliers, let alone any coupons in them. Building Supers are also ignorant; they simply wanna get rid of anything in the lobby asap. The moment deliveries come in, straight to the dump. Sometimes, it is disheartening to see so much waste.

Can you give example of any product that you got for free after the coupon?

It is true, most coupons would say “any size” but it is misleading. Most of those products come in no less than sizes that would cost as much as the coupon face value. Thus, the coupon face value would always cover a part (no more than 30%) of the retail/sale price anyway.

A few products that come in “trial” or travel sizes such as toothpaste (crest) or mouthrinses (Scope), would state “except trial sizes” on the coupons. So I do not see any coupon would actually end up “free” after the coupon even if we were to buy it on sale price.

They do come in the Greenville news. You just have to check your papers before you buy them, because I have found they are not in every paper.

I know right!! I did the same thing for Christmas gifts this year too…
Free Publix reusable bags, free Glade candles, free CVS photo books, free boxes of Whitman chocolates (with coupons and ECB’s) cheap Robert Mondavi wine (with the $1.50 off coupon!) and free Kodak disposables for my grandma who wants nothing to do with digital cameras lol!

That’s a good idea; since frequenting the site now for the past month I’ve accumulated a stash of items I will be giving myself as “gifts”. Who wouldn’t want items that were free and you use everyday :-)
