      I totally took advantage of this.

      When I clicked on it, it took me to a screen that was a 3rd party seller that said one in stock. I clicked on the actual item and it took me to where I could purchase through Amazon. If you scroll down, you’ll see the rebate information for it.

      Well, this stinks. I renewed my subscription directly through mcafee before seeing this. Oh well! :) At least I didn’t pay full price through mcafee…so I got some kind of savings.

        Same here…..I had literally just renewed through mcafee two days earlier. UGH!! I tried calling them to see what they could offer me, but they said they couldn’t offer me anymore of a discount than I already had. I thought about cancelling and making them refund my money, and then signing up for this offer, but in the end it seemed like too much hassle.

        Oh well. :-)

      Great deal!!! The rebate is a prepaid Visa card. Heads up…use it within 6 months of issue to avoid $3/month fee.

      Where do you find the rebate. I see the info on amazon, but when I click on the rebate link, it doesn’t give me any info. Just want to make sure of everything before I pay the $70.

      I sure hope this works — I love McAfee and have been using it for years — usually get at Staples with a full rebate — but if this works, it will be just as good. Thanks Jenny!!

      I just ordered it and when I went to the McAfee rebate website it says this rebate does not exist?? Any ideas? I really hope I get my $70 back!!

        I had the same problem. It told me the rebate didn’t exists also. I printed the form that Amazon provided though. I hope to get my $70 back too!

      Download Avast or Avg for free instead. They’re much better than McAfee. It’s not a good program at all even for free.

      I just got mine in the mail and go figure, they placed a sticker right over the UPC label. I called McAfee and they said to make a copy of the cover, disc, and first page of the manual to send in with the “UPC label” and it should go through. I got her name and ID number, so hopefully she wasn’t just trying to calm my nerves. I’ll let you know if I ever get my rebate!
