I went last week and our FL (in VA) said a fraud alert was sent out from headquarters on the Hillshire smokies coupon so they wouldn’t take them. That was a big dissapointment. Anyone else run into this?

Lovin the catalina for the Post Cereals! Bought 8, used 4 coupons, received 4 $1 catalinas back, gonna go get 4 more boxes with 2 coupons and the 4 catalinas and pay .66 per box!!!!

Oh, I also had to share…. I had a raincheck from the last time that All detergent was bogo, so I got it for $2.59/bottle before coupon, only 59 cents each after!!! I got 4 bottles for $2.88!!! :)

GREAT deal on glade holiday scents!!

I walked into my store to buy some detergent and I happened to notice that all of the glade holiday scented 4 oz. jar candles and scented oils tins, glass holders, and refills were only $1.69 each. Of course, there were only $1.50 off coupons in any of the tins in my store (this drives me so crazy!!!) but I did have some BOGO and $2 off 2 coupons from a few weeks ago. I bought 4 tins and 4 refills and spent $3.27! and I’ll send it in for the $5 rebate. :)

I was having the same problem with a coupon a couple of weeks back. I spoke with coupons.com customer service and the woman said that if you are getting this error message and you already have the coupon printer installed then it is most likely that the web address has been typed in incorrectly. I’m getting the same message so more than likely it is a problem with the website. I would email them and see what they can do. HTH!

Just walked out of Food Lion and paid $2.40 for two bottles of All! Makes me sick that last week, when I was desperate and out I paid $5.00 at a competitor. Ug! Thanks for ALL you do! ;)

Not a big fan of food lion, but…
went today to get chicken on sale and found they had a 10 pound bag of leg quarters for $3.90. This is 39 cents a lb. Wow! It has really large pieces, my husband an I broke them down and had 9 quarters in each bag, huge pieces. A really good value in my book. This is in the Charleston area.

Thanks so much for this list! I’m in central Virginia. I just went to Food Lion, spent $13 and saved $20 :) Yay! Also, I bought 2 Alpha Bits cereals at the $5/3 price, used the $1/2 Post Cereal coupons, and the machine printed out a Catalina for a $1 off my next order thanks to Post Cereals! Unexpected $1 bonus there! Yay again! Our sale included Armour Meatballs at $5/2 frozen bags, and there’s a $1 FLIP for these. Of course my FL was out of them :( Raincheck! Couponing is such fun.

I don’t know how widespread this is, but the Food Lion in Ellijay, GA had their bananas for .19/lb today. I asked the produce guy, and he said that it is certainly a mistake, but that as long as they show .19 in the computer, they are selling them for that price. Even the staff at FL were stocking up on bananas today. I don’t know how long it will last. But with the $2 off q, I got three bunches of bananas, a pineapple, and a 3 lb bag of potatos for $4!

If you go to the “grocery store coupons” link at the top of the southern savers page it will take you to all of the food lion coupons and you can print the produce coupon from there!

Question: We do not have any Publix /Bi-lo stores in NC ,can we use their cpns at FL or Wal-Mart?

Yes… if the label on the meat says “butcher’s brand”… it’s basically the fresh red meat that is prepared right at Food Lion. Most of what you would pick up in terms of ground beef, is “butcher’s brand”. But it is clearly labeled.
