        Go to your local post office and pick up a change of address packet. They always have a 10 or 15% off coupon for lowes in the packet. Stock up and always get that off every purchase.

      I asked my dad if that was a good deal and he said YES!!!! So I bought one for my hubby :)

      The only coupons I’m aware of are the 10% off Lowe’s moving coupons that are mailed when you sign up or in the “Change of Address” packets at the post office. Otherwise, Lowe’s doesn’t have any readily available coupons out right now.

      Guy gift idea? Pfft! I’m the power-tool-lover in my house! The boyfriend has no idea how to use them.

      My grandfather got me a sander similar to that one for xmas a few years ago, and it was my favorite present I got that year :)

      And actually, my little sister borrowed it in May and hasn’t given it back…Maybe I should buy this set for myself!

      I just got one…I did the pick up from store option because they were going to charge $79 for delivery! My eyes almost popped out of my head when I saw that! Thanks for the tip Jenny! :)

      Thank you thank you thank you! I’ve been racking my brain for a gift for my DH that fits into the budget but will be fun for him to open. He Loves tools, and I was considering a Lowes gift card any way! This is SOOOO Much better and he will never believe the deal!

      Unfortunately, if you are looking for a “real drill”, I would suggest the Makita 18v Lith-Ion. It won all the awards this year. However it is $200. Just a thought on how to spend the extra $1000 you saved on groceries.

        i have to disagree michael. i have the li-ion flavor of this drill and it does more then i could ask for as a daily drill. now as far as it being a commercial grade, use 8 hours a day, probably not. but for it being technically $10, its more than enough power and a perfect gift!

        im actually buying this to have the sander and jigsaw becuase the li-ion battery will fit in them :)

      If you go to your local post office and pick up a change of address booklet they always have a 10% or 15% off lowes coupon stuffed in there for moving purposes. You could go grab a stack and have 10% off every time you go to lowes.!!!!!!

      I’m soooo glad to see this. We got this set for Christmas for our son on Blitz day. I’m going to run it back tomorrow, get the refund, and buy it back using a post office coupon. I LOVE THIS SITE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      This set is nice. I ordered it online and husband picked it up. No problems and no waiting. Ordered another one for my dad after I saw how nice it was.

      Ordered it for my hubby. The kids wanted to get him tools, and have a very limited budget. I told them I’d help out. I may actually end up selling the drill and sander on Craigslist. We have plenty of both!

      Just ordered this and will pick it up in store. However, somehow I got charged for 3 sets and the store called to confirm. They’ll refund the money, but just check your receipt to make sure you got charged only once.

      Bummed out with our local Lowe’s!! Ordered this set at 9:00 AM. When I checked the status of the order this afternoon, the website said “Cancelled”. After calling the store, the cashier told me that it was not in stock at their location and so they cancelled my order. Still, no notification! I was told that email and the hold on my credit card for the $41.34 pending transaction should come off tomorrow. They are not actually “shipping to the stores”, just selling of inventory. You’re S.O.L. if they don’t have them in your area.
