Bummed out with our local Lowe’s!! Ordered this set at 9:00 AM. When I checked the status of the order this afternoon, the website said “Cancelled”. After calling the store, the cashier told me that it was not in stock at their location and so they cancelled my order. Still, no notification! I was told that email and the hold on my credit card for the $41.34 pending transaction should come off tomorrow. They are not actually “shipping to the stores”, just selling of inventory. You’re S.O.L. if they don’t have them in your area.

Just ordered this and will pick it up in store. However, somehow I got charged for 3 sets and the store called to confirm. They’ll refund the money, but just check your receipt to make sure you got charged only once.

i have to disagree michael. i have the li-ion flavor of this drill and it does more then i could ask for as a daily drill. now as far as it being a commercial grade, use 8 hours a day, probably not. but for it being technically $10, its more than enough power and a perfect gift!

im actually buying this to have the sander and jigsaw becuase the li-ion battery will fit in them :)

Ordered it for my hubby. The kids wanted to get him tools, and have a very limited budget. I told them I’d help out. I may actually end up selling the drill and sander on Craigslist. We have plenty of both!

Go to your local post office and pick up a change of address packet. They always have a 10 or 15% off coupon for lowes in the packet. Stock up and always get that off every purchase.

If you go to your local post office and pick up a change of address booklet they always have a 10% or 15% off lowes coupon stuffed in there for moving purposes. You could go grab a stack and have 10% off every time you go to lowes.!!!!!!

Unfortunately, if you are looking for a “real drill”, I would suggest the Makita 18v Lith-Ion. It won all the awards this year. However it is $200. Just a thought on how to spend the extra $1000 you saved on groceries.
