Macy’s: Calling all Virginias

On December 11th (tomorrow)  between 10am and 6 pm Macy’s is giving away a $10 gift card to anyone with the first or last name Virginia. You must have a valid ID and there is a limit of one per family.   Go here for more information!

      Just a note; maybe you mean all “Virginias”?? (extra “i”) I did a double-take when I looked at this post and thought Macy’s was looking for virgins…. :)

        I actually asked my local macys 2 days ago if people w/the middle name applied too (seemed odd they would exclude that but allow first and last). The manager I talked to said that middle names were accepted as well.

        LOL you’d actually be suprised to learn how many people come up with Vermont when u say ur middle name starts with a “V” and is a state.

      I guess this is to make up for the often quoted “Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Clause,” which I’m sure they’ve heard more times then not. Lol. It’s a nice tie in to the new animated movie that’s coming out featuring Macy’s. It’s smart too because I’m sure most Virginias will spend more then that $10 they’ll be getting. Good all the way around.

      My Mom is psyched to go grab her gift card today! Her first name is Virginia so I emailed as soon as I heard last night about this deal.
      Maybe she’ll buy something for me with it.
