Walmart: Wii $149.99 Saturday 8am

If you want a Wii, head to Walmart tomorrow morning at 8 am (really before). You will get a $50 giftcard with puchase on a Wii console, making it $149.99! This is probably the best price I’ve seen so far.

I went to a Wal-mart store today after I was told they had 30 in stock. To my surprise, they refused to sell the Wii to me. The manager even admitted that they had some in stock, but were holding them in the back until Saturday claiming that the sale will start again on that day. I called the corporate office who said they don't know anything about another sale starting on Saturday. I think that is very unethical.

So, is it safe to day that Wal-mart has the system and are refusing to sell. If you view all that is being said, would it have be easy to give out rain checks since the deal is still current?

So the ad says that this deal goes until Dec. 12th. Does this mean that even though i didn't join the masses at Walmart last weekend, that I still have a shot at getting one of these? Do you think I should just call periodically this week to see if they have any in stock?

My husband actually was willing to go to Walmart Saturday morning and get this deal. He was given a ticket and was #20 - apparently they had only 60 in stock. He thinks the Wii's were all gone by the time he checked out, and we have a gold $50 gift card in our drawer! DH thinks that we will need to use the gift card for an extra controller though. He and I have no clue about the Wii and what we need for it as we've been holdouts also.

I just bought a Wii on amazon.com for $199.99 with free shipping and a free $50 amazon gift card. This made the final price $149.99 once I get the giftcard. Giftcard will come by emai in a few days so I can use that for some other shopping. Great Deal, but it ends soon!!!

Yes the walmart ad that I received in the mail yesterday states the sale starts tomorrow. I am glad I read this website this morning stating the sale started today. I called my local Wal-Mart and they stated there were still some available so I headed down there and got one. YEAH!

I went to WalMart this morning at 9:15 but I was convinced they would have been out of stock. They still had 3 or 4 left even after I bought mine! I'm so excited! My brothers and I are giving the Wii to our parents. (No, none of us still live at home so this is strictly for the parent's fun). My mom has been trying to win one. We'll use the gift card as a part of our group gift to another family member! :)

Got mine this morning. The people at WalMart were pretty clueless. Some guy kept rambling on and on about we didn't know what we were talking about, but we finally convinced him to get the manager over. He did and we were first ones in line. The ad says a minimum of like 10 per store. There were a lot more than 10 in line when I left. Now I'm returning the bundle I got from Sams on Thanksgiving. This was a much better deal!

We bought the bundle from Amazon last week for $149.99. It qualified for the Super Saver Discount so no Shipping & Handling. I had a $70 Gift Card for staying at a Marriott last May. My Total for this Order: $79.99. Awesome!

I actually went to Target today since I had a coupon for a free $15 target gift card on a purchase of $150, so I got a gift card for $20as advertised and one for $15, making it $164.99 but I also had a coupon for a free nunchuck control (from target's website) a $19.99 value. So if I deduc this amount from the 164.99 ,like if I had bought the nunchuck, it makes my total $144.01 plus tax, which I thought was a better deal.

Look under grocery coupons then click on toys, the free nunchuck is at target not wal-mart.

We have been holding out on buying a Wii for a long time, but I finally found a great deal last week. I got one for $169.99, free shipping and 2% cash back from ebates last week on eBay from their 12 days of deals. They were sold out within an hour. It is not as great as this deal, but it was good enough for me to buy for a family Christmas present.

The sales paper does say starting Sunday but they are running TV ad's for saturday 8am. I just bought one Tuesday night for 199 with $20 gc at Target...wonder if they will adjust?

Oh I so wish I had the money. This is a great price. I saw a report on TV the other day about how the wii and the tenis game [and more] is helping with parkinsons !

Also how physical therapist are now having increased clients due to the wii. LOL guess some are playing it a little to often and with to much zeal LOL

Actually Amazon's Bundle deal is better than this one! I got the Wii and Wii Fit Plus + a Free $50 Gift Card for $259, free shipping. It was posted for $289, but I will get a $30 credit for using the Amazon CC! I used the GC to 6et the Lego Star wars game they had the other day for $12.98 and another Controller for $34.99. I still have $$ left too :)

I called a couple places and they all said that they will start offering the sale at 8AM on saturday the 5th. Call your local Walmart to see when they are starting the sale even if your local ad states Sunday.

During the transaction a screen pop should tell the associate to scan a $50 gift card. I just did this with a $40 guitar hero gift card last week.

I didn't like that brand wheel as much as the licensed Wii Wheel product. We own both but the generic one never gets used and it was almost the same price as the other when purchased as new. I can't speak for the gun though but the price is not bad at all for both. We spent more than that just on the generic wheel in the game store.
