      THey are also gving away the $50 GC in store. So you can buy the 360 Elite for 249.99 after GC and that is a much better deal than the 360 Arcade! Stay away from the Arcade. It has no Hard Drive and will keep you from playing most games on xbox live and from saving most stuff to your xbox.

          The Xbox Arcade works GREAT for us and we have had it for a while. The only importance for spending more money on the Xbox live is if you want to play against other people worldwide. If at some point the kids become interested…just buy a hard drive

      PS that was my thought but the hard drive is 150 as opposed to the 50 upgrade now. Also if you want to save your progress you will soon be out of memory to do so. For some it will be OK but if you have a serious gamer you are buying for stay away from the Arcade IMHO

      You can get a 120 GB Hard Drive brand new off ebay for around $65.00. Maybe less, got mine for $55.00 new. No different than the elite at that point. Saved $45.00. As always, do your own homework and don’t always believe what others say, no matter how good their intentions.
