Yes they are different. Sometimes I get coupons that are .50/2 instead of $1/1 and some are not in there. I have a friend that lives on the other side of the county (I live on the border) and she gives me the coupons she doesn’t use. Every time she has a bunch that I didn’t get and we get the same paper! Talk about regional!

Yes the Tennessean has coupons but to get all the coupons each week, you have to sign up for home delivery. They said that those get the coupons first before putting them in the papers that are sold on the news standss. I am seriously thinking of changing my Sunday delivery to weekday since we get coupons on Wednesday and Friday too.

Yes Dollar Tree has them for $1 but I noticed at a CVS that they had theirs on for a $1 as well. The last time I went to the one close to home, they didn’t have the sign up anymore. I dont know if that was a promo time or what but Dollar Tree is faithful with their price. I love that store! If only it took coupons

90% of the time my Sunday paper will have the same Redplum coupons as I get on Thursdays in the Evening Edge.

I have looked through both my ss and rp each 3 times and can’t find most of the coupons that I am looking for. The maybelline deal is great, but I don’t have the coupon. Are they different for different areas?

I wanted to post somewhere (this seemed like a good spot) that last night at Ingles in Anderson, SC, the Ray-O-Vac coupon set off alarms. The manager was called over and he said the day before the District Manager had come in and warned them of counterfeit coupons. This coupon was the example he used.

I explained that the Southern Savers site was very reputable and had just had a similar posting about fraudulent coupons with a list. I assured him that the site is very careful about couponing.

All of my coupons were screened at that point against a list of fraudulent coupons. It was a little unnerving but they were super nice about it and even gave me a manager’s discount of $3 because they were out of some of the Fiber One items to make up the $3 printout.

Most of the stores in Anderson will not take a competitor’s coupon, including Publix now.

Just makes it a little more of a challenge to keep purchases within budget.

I just used one last week at Kroger in Farragut. She pointed out the Target logo and I said it was a manufacturers coupon. She said she would see if it would scan. It did.

I’d get Target to price match, but they don’t carry the particular (Kashi) pizza I need to buy (food allergies).

This happened to me at the new Walmart in Balentine. It was a manufactures coupon, but it had Publix on it and they refused to take it.

Thanks Sarah, I live in Clarksville and have been getting the Leaf-Chronicle. Was wondering if the Tennessean had coupons in it or not. Also if you live near a Dollar Tree they sell the local paper for a dollar instead of the normal 1.50. So I have been able to save there as well.

Yes! This happened to me at Kroger a couple of weeks ago. I pointed out to my cashier that it was a manu q. She said nothing with the logo. They had just been yelled at in a meeting for taking them. This was the Irmo Kroger on St Andrews. I don’t like to make a fuss, but it was not a Target Web Coupon and I really wanted my $1 off of my Northern TP that they had on sale cheaper than Target :( What is up with that?

I was disappointed today when I went to Walgreens and Kroger and they told me they would not accept the coupons with the Target logo on them….they were not the Target Web Coupons…..?? Has anyone else had this problem?

I get a RedPlum insert early too with our local paper in Henry County- but it never has all of the same coupons as the RP that comes in the Sunday paper. It will have some that the Sunday won’t or won’t have some that the Sunday one does.. is yours always the same as the one that comes Sunday in the AJC?

I live in Charleston and get the Post and Courier on Sundays. I have noticed that we don’t always get the same coupons that you do. What’s up with that? Would it be a good idea to have the State Paper delivered on Sundays also?

I get a paper in my driveway every Thursday called “The Evening Edge”. It always has the Redplum for the coming weekend and the Smartsource from the past weekend.

Just to fill any TN readers in: if there is any way at all for you to pick up a copy of the Tennesean in Nashville, do it. Last Sunday’s paper was incredible with a Smart Source, Red Plum and one other insert. The Commercial Appeal (Memphis) is a much smaller paper and has way fewer coupons and does not include Red Plum. Check it out…I am.

Thanks so much for posting that address. I have misplaced mine and I work with woodmen of the world and our local lodge is doing the “coupon for service” as a community project. I have several bags to send and plan to do that next week. If you are interested in participating in this project contact a local woodmen representative and have them contact me or start your own project in your community. Its something our sr citizens also love to participate in because I take the coupons that I clip and don’t use to them. Works out great for everybody. My woodmen contact info is jksmith. I have a copy of the 01/10/10 Redplum (Atlanta area) and it does not have the $2 off Phazyme, Vivarin, Sominex, Feosol, Detrox, Targon, Nytol, Geritol or GlyOxide, $3 off Citrucel, $2 off Contac or $2 off Ecotrin. There are only 2 Special K coupons and they are both Target store coupons. It also has .50/1 Gatorade G2 (any size or variety).

There is an overseas coupon program for military families that is at Incirlik AFB, Turkey..they need your coupons that you don’t use or that are recently expired, as their commissary will accept coupons for up to SIX MONTHS past expiration date.. They need just manufacturer coupons..Please send to
