The link for the Betty Crocker cookie mix q brings me to a bunch of coupons (including one for the warm delights bowls) but I could not find the q for the cookie mix. Any ideas or other zipcodes?

fyi, the blueberries and blackberries at the HTs I’ve been to in Charlotte are not driscoll’s brand. the strawberries are, but of course they are not on sale.

Your store is right, they do not accept printed coupons for anything FREE. I get your frustration because you KNOW it’s a legitimate coupon but it’s not that hard for someone to make (or copy) a fake coupon on a home computer and often fradulent coupons are for higher values and “free” items so HT I can understand that HT is really just trying to cut their losses. Sorry :(

HT DOES NOT accept competitors coupons for $$ off a specific item, only competitors paper offers for $$ off your order. HOWEVER, many of the coupons you can print off Target.com are actually manufacturers coupons (it says that right on them) and are not Target store coupons at all- HT should accept those. My HT accepted the Tidy Cats coupon no problem- it scanned right through. At other stores though, for a really good coupon, I’ve actually gone as far as showing them where the coupon gives reimbursement instructions for “retailer- NOT just Target” on it and the difference in the barcodes between a manufacturer’s coupon printed from Target.com and a store Target Coupon. For some reason, employees get all freaked out by that Target bullseye emblem on coupons. I’ve had success at Harris Teeter, Food Lion, and Kroger with Target Manufacturer coupons- some scan through just fine and other times the cashier mentions that they don’t take “competitor” coupons and once I explain that it’s not a competitor coupon but a manufacturer coupon and that they will get reimbursed for it- they’re fine with it then!

Nope, your logic is not wrong. When they’ve run this deal before I was able to get a catalina for BC fruit snacks, one for Nature Valley bars AND the $5 off…I think your store is just confused.

Awhile back when Green Giant veggies were free after Q AND they were running the GM promotion I was pleasantly surprised to find that after my 3rd order of 5 veggies my VIC card did keep track of all General Mills items that I bought and gave me $5 off so…it probably does keep a tally. However, many of HT’s promotions like this don’t so I wouldn’t count on it.

Has anyone tried to use the free milk coupon at their HT? They wouldn’t let us use it and said it’s their policy to not accept internet coupons giving away ‘free’ things. I don’t understand why…they get reimbursed anyway for the full price….

Ok – this is what I did. CSM wasn’t sure about the $5 off being able to duplicate within the same order, so she suggested splitting the order. It didn’t limit my VIC card; the second order did give me the $5 off again. I did use the catalinas that printed on the first order and rolled them into the second order. However, my glitch was that HT only accepts 2 IP’s for the same product and I had more than 2 on the BC gushers/bugs and the NV Granola Bars. When I came home, I read their policy and the cashier was right, even though some HT’s in town must just override the beep because I haven’t had this problem before. I’m still very happy with my purchases and being fairly new to this, find I have stumbles and just have to be glad my totals are a lot less than before I started following this site.

I had coupons for everything in order 1 & 2…
1st order:
6 Nature Valley Granola Bars (5 gets $3.50 catalina)
6 BC fruit shapes, roll ups (5 gets $3.50 catalina)
3 Green Giant Steamers
Got $5 off instantly and 2 $3.50 catalinas
Total was $20.08 and I lost $4.60 from the IP thing

2nd order
4 Green Giant Steamers
2 boxes cherrios
1 box fiber one cereal
2 pkg BC cookie mix
2 pillsbury crescent rolls
4 pillsbury sweet rolls
evic free HT steamer veggies
evic angel soft 12pk tp
less $3.50 * 2
Total = 10.22

Trip total = $30.30

HT in Mt Pleasant had the Blue Diamonds almonds (small cans) BOGO at $3.69, so with my $1 off Blue Diamond nuts coupon, I got two cans for $2.69–not bad, nuts are so expensive!

I’m getting really frustrated with my nearest HT. I might end up having to go to the one across town to see if their customer service is any better.
I went Wednesday night, bought fifteen items on the green page of the flyer. Three of those were Betty Crocker fruit snacks. My $5 did not come off, and I didn’t receive a $1.50 coupon for my next purchase.
I went back today to get it adjusted, and the manager on duty said, “I can tell you right now that if the Betty Crocker fruit snacks were three of your fifteen, it’s not going to count.”
Is anyone else running into this? To me, then, the ad seems *deliberately* misleading and I will not be returning to this store.
The fruit snacks are included in the list at the bottom of the page, and the language is “Plus Buy any 3 and get $1.50 off your next order”… the key word being PLUS, as in, in addition to the mega sale. Is my logic wrong?

I just learned about this last week during a visit to the HT in Morehead City, NC. They have triple coupons daily. I asked when it was to end and they have no idea. My guess is where the store was built is not drawing enough customers. Unfortunately I did not have my coupons with me nor had time to get back to the store during my visit. :(

The Harris Teeter in Rock Hill, SC had Old El Paso refried beans with green chilies for $.50. I checked the date – good until Nov 2011 and they counted toward my 15 GM items. The cans were at the front of the store in the clearance section.

I saw the Kraft $5/5 offer on Southern Savers ONLY. I never did see the offer in HT or on their flyer. When I purchased 5 Kraft items, the catalina did not print & customer service said they must NOT be doing it. I contacted HT corporate and they apologized and sent me a $5 coupon. I purchased 5 items again later in the week and it went through automatically. I didn’t know the offer was still on through the 24th! Thanks Southern Savers for letting me know about that offer! You are so helpful in my quest to save money!

Well I called corporate and WOW was that easy!!! I explained the situation and he said he wasnt 100% sure but it seemed to him that 5.00 should have come off. After all, 15 UPC codes ran through, it shouldn’t matter what price I paid. Anyway, he put a $5.00 “credit” on my VIC card….said the next time I used it $5.00 would automatically come off!! I’m very happy with that!! Thank you HT corporate!

My HT would not give me 5.00 off instantly because they said some of my items were the BOGO and they don’t count as “2 items”, just 1 cause 1 is free. I tried to argue the point that they rang up as 1/2 price but they wouldn’t except that. Anyone else have this happen?
