      I have the Kmart savings book but it specifically states on the coupon that their coupon cannot be combined with any other coupon for the same item? You are buying 2 items and using 2 coupons. According to this you would need to buy 4 items to use 2 coupons???

        If that’s the case, then k-mart really stinks. I used to work there but they didn’t have store coupons out at the time. I hope it works.

        I wondered about this too. I found this booklet a few weeks ago and read that so I have been meaning to ask someone K-Marts coupon policy as I don’t shop there often.

      How do you get the money back? Does it print with your receipt? If you buy more ( say 4) will you get $6 back?

        It will print after your reciept so make sure you get everything that prints. I am however, not sure about whether you would get $6 if you buy 4 at one time. I would assume not.

      I went to K-mart tonight and they were marked down from 3.99 each to 3.00 each. The coupon that i had was 3.00 off of two. I went to the register with 2 candles, she rang up them with the first coupon. I asked her to try the other 1.00 coupon in the k-mart coupon book and it worked. So i got four dollars off of two candles. Total is was 2.41 for two.

      I got the candle deal a BiLo. They are giving the money back via a catalina that prints at register, same $3.00 off next trip if buying 2, and I think more money back if you buy more. BiLo had a few scents marked closeout for $3.00 each, so with coupon I paid $3.00 for 2, and got $3.00 back, so they were FREE!

      I tried to use both the K-Mart coupon in the booklet and the manufacturer’s coupon ($3 off 2) when buying two candles. I was told I had to use one or the other; they didn’t allow two coupons on the same items. (This was in Birmingham.) I tried to explain that many stores allowed a store coupon and a manufacturer’s coupon, but the cashier called a manager who said no. Finally, after more explaining on my part, he told her to try both and see if the system would take them, and amazingly enough, it worked.

        it’s amazing how much “convincing” you have to do to get some cashiers just to scan items and let the computers (btw, programmed by their sups) make the decision… good for you for continuing to “explain” and getting the discount!

      This turned out to be a big dud for me. The candles were $2.99 ea. I used the $3.00 coup and they refused to use both. I called a manager and she said “no”, too. That was the Hiram, GA store. The register didn’t spit out a $3 off next purchase either. So I just got the 2 ($1.50 ea) and I’ll use them towards a SC Johnson $5 rebate. Publix has Ziploc’s on sale tomorrow and I think I still have a .40 off one…there’s my 3 items for that rebate.

      Has anyone in the Columbia, SC area tried this deal and been successful at it? I guess it would be a better deal to do it at Bi-Lo and get a catalina that you could possibly use at Walgreens or Publix.

      Luckily, I was able to complete the deal in Jax, FL. Though, the 2oz candles cost $2.99 instead of $2.50. However, I was able to use both coupons, costing only a dollar & some change. I still rcvd the $3.00 coupon for my next shopping purchase!

      I found the booklet at the customer service desk in a plastic brochure holder.

      Is the $3 coupon that prints off with the receipt good for any purchase at kmart or is it only good toward another glade purchase?

      thanks for the heads up, Jenny. i did this deal four times today. the candles at my store were priced at $2.99, so after both coupons my total was $1.29 (with tax). got the $3 oyno catalina each time without a problem. i then bought the huge box of huggies wipes for $9.99, used $1 kmart coupon (found in the same booklet), $0.75 IP mfc. q, and three $3 catalinas. i added in a piece of candy to get the total right. i only paid $.61 oop and still have another $3 catalina left! thanks so much. i’ll be sending in some rebate forms for SC Johnson now, too!

      no catalina print for me… did the deal twice, too, but check out the coupons in the sale paper at the desk… they are manuf. coupons and can be used anywhere… dog and cat food coupons, too. The Chef Micheals dog food turns out to be .25 a can after their coupon at Kmart…
