Sunday Coupon Insert Variation 1/10

Posted on Jan 13 2010 | By Jenny · Comments

Here are the differences in the coupon inserts you received Sunday 1/10.

Click on the paper near you to see what coupons were actually in the inserts around the Southeast. Check out the differences to really get an idea of what paper is the best to buy. There are variations every week.

As folks send me the lists I will update with links so check back if your paper is not up yet.

A few ways to use these lists:

  1. You see that you did not get a coupon that was released, you can go to online coupon sites and order it.
  2. Print the list for your inserts and keep it with your inserts to quickly know if you have that coupon.
  3. A way to decide what paper is the best paper in your area to buy.

Thanks Phillis for the Tennesseean coupon variations. They are so helpful!

    Hello,

Thank you Phillis again for doing the Tennessean paper's breakdown. I look forward to it every week. I do have a question though... I purchased my normal 8 papers this last Sunday (1/17) and only received a SS and a P&G (no Red Plum, which I thought was listed). Did you notice that??? Or should I contact the paper? There have also been other times which a 3rd SS was left out as well. I don't know if I am just getting bad stacks of papers or if the paper just changes it's mind at the last second. Please let me know what you think I should do. Thanks for your insight.... I am fairly new to this.

I just figured out how to subscribe...yeah! I just called the customer service number and they'll mail it to my home.

    Thanks,
  • Amanda
I've noticed in the Montgomery, AL area that Dollar Tree sells both the Advertiser and the Birmingham News on Sundays....for $1, of course!. Coupons are in these editions.

It's a good thing I am starting to get the AJC. It looks as though Chattanooga's paper has nothing this sunday with all that red! I didn't realize if you clicked on the link above you could see the coupons for the area!! LOL. And I don't know how long I've been looking at this site and I find new things every time!
  • Margy
Almost every week is that way in Chattanooga...the only insert that usually matches the national list is the Proctor and Gamble weeks. I have in-laws who save the Detroit inserts for me, and some other friends in Chattanooga are investigating getting big city inserts online from ebay or other sites.
  • Lauri
I'm trying to find out a way to get a paper outside my area. I live in the Chattanooga area and our inserts are always slim compared to other areas I've seen; like the Atlanta Journal.

    Anyone have any suggestions?

    Thanks so much!
  • Donna S
I just recently found out that an employee at my husbands job lived in GA and gets that paper in her area. So he put in a favor for me! I know of people driving as far as Chatsworth just to get the AJC. From Cleveland, it's an hour drive but may not be since you are further down the way... And I'm guessing you could pick it up on Saturdays from what I've heard. HTH!
  • Linda W.
So they have the AJC in Chatsworth? Is that at a Dollar Store? I'd drive down there every Sunday to get some papers!! I know they have much better coupons than Chattanooga.
  • Christina
Wow just realized what this is and just want to say THANK YOU!!!!! This saves me so much MORE time!!! This website is so awesome thank you to everyone that makes it so easy for us!!!
  • Bethany
Wow, I hadn't compared the Chattanooga Times Free Press with the Tennessean. That's ridiculous how much the TFP is missing! Anyone know where I can get the Tennessean in Chattanooga? Thanks!
  • Foxfunds
I haven't found a source for it here - according the distribution department - they do not have a place in Chattanooga that sells that paper. I know years ago you could purchase it on Mt Eagle...but I don't know if you can now.
  • Foxfunds
Seeing that Chattanooga paper insert listing just makes me see RED - literally! I am so glad I decided to stop purchasing our area paper (total waste of money) and seek out other sources for my inserts - it has made my Sundays much more pleasant.
  • Linda W.
I'm in Cleveland and haven't seen any other papers to get. What paper are you getting? I'd love better coupons than the dumpy ones we get in the chatt paper. Thanks!
  • Foxfunds
Email me - I will give you all the details. foxfunds@gmail.com
I just cried everytime I saw a good set of inserts coming because I knew we would never get them. Now I don't worry about it - because I know that mine are ordered and on the way before the weekend arrives. I look forward to those long list of great Q's from Jenny now - because I know that I will have them too. :D
  • Jessica
where do you get your inserts?
  • Foxfunds
Send me an email Jessica - I will be happy to help you, and anyone else that is seeking an alternative to Chattanooga papers.
  • Peggy
Why the difference in the ink colors? Blue, red, and black? I'm confused!
  • Jenny
It is to show you the differences

Red = That insert did not get the coupon
Blue = You got the coupon but it was for a different value
Green = You got a coupon that was not listed in the preview.
  • Peggy
    Thanks Jenny! You are wonderful!
  • Kim
WOW! Impressive! How do you have the time to do all this with young children running around? Thanks for all you do.
  • Jenny
It's night time and the house is quiet :)
  • Katie
Do you have access to the coupons in the Dallas Morning News? Thanks!
  • Jenny
I actually post lists that folks send to me, so if you want to help ocver the Dallas paper I can get you started - it's easy!
  • Christine
I'm not able to help, but I did notice the Tampa Tribune is not listed under FLA. Thanks!
