no, but you will only get rr for 1 in 1 transaction. You will have to go in a couple of times if you want more than 1 in order to get rr for all of them.

I went today. Walgreens would not give me rr for purchasing thermacare if I used previous rr to pay in next transaction. Sounded fishy but I didn’t want to make a scene or trouble for next shopper. What’s that all about?

If you use a RR from Thermacare to buy more Thermacare you wont get another RR to print out. You must use a diiferent manufaturer’s RR toward the Thermacare get a new printed RR.

I have a couple of $2 off coupons on the lubriderm ? if I used these on some that are priced at 3.49 would I be able to use both $2 coupons ? or would they only allow one as the second item would be priced at 1.75? If they do and you add the $1 coupon from the walgreens booklet it would only be .98 for 2 . Now that would not be a bad deal . Do they have a monthly deal on the lubriderm ? lol free or – is even better

That’s a really good question! I was planning on doing exactly that, but I didn’t think about the second bottle costing less than $2.00. I think with the store coupon and the $2.00 coupon they would come out to be free, since it will take $1.00 off for each one you purchase. But I don’t know if the machine will beep since the coupon is more than the sales price….anyone out there know?

LOL I didnt think of the fact the walgreens coupon would take 2 off instead of just $1 . I will plan to have something for overage when I do this and hope it goes through if not I will save my coupons for when I can get it free or less than .50 cents a bottle . but maybe with the fact that the manuf, coupons are total of $4 and the lubriderm cost is more than $4 total of both bottles [even with one at 1/2 off] they will let it go through . Guess it will be a case of the register letting it go through and if you have a decent cashier. Wish I had more coupons if this does work lol Lubriderm fragrence free is one of only 2 lotions I can use on my face and arms .

I am going to try using the store coupon first, then the manufacturer. I tried using the manu first, then the store coupon on a similar situation, and the computer wouldn’t accept it. I also think if you have an overage, it would help. Good luck!

I used both coupons and it went through fine . I used the wag one after the manuf coupon. I was lucky and had the coupon friendly cashier. So no problems with that. I have decided that walgreens is not a good place to use b1g1 manuf q with any of the $ offs walgreens coupons . I dont get the full sale price off anymore only the price after the wags coupons. They seem to be insisting more and more on the walgreens coupons first then manuf qs . uggg.

okay can someone tell me if I was wrong at wags today or not. I purchased two of the bayer meters & got my $13 rr in all. Then I purchased 2 of the baby products & 2 neosporin lip products & a filler item. I used my 4 coupons & 1 bayer rr & then my oop expense. I got my receipt & $3 rr frm J&J. When I asked about the one for the lip products he said they must be from the same company & offered to void it all out & do them separately. We did & started with the baby products & this time nothing printed out. He then told me it was because I used a bayer rr to pay & if I use rr rewards none will print out. I told him I used rr the 1st time when one printed out. He just didn’t know then because if you pay with rr rewards then you shouldn’t receive any. I ended up voiding it all out & keeping my $13 from the bayer meters & thought I’d ask here. I always have trouble with wags.

I don’t have an answer for you, but I used to like Wags, but then figured out CVS. If i get to CVS early in the week, then they have what I need and it all goes so much smoother!! I love, love, love CVS!

I do know that the baby products and neosporin{pfizer] are both made by Johnson&Johnson . But that should not have had been a reason to make the lip product not print unless the RR reward #s for those are the same . If we have to worry about parent companys for rewards now lol it will be very little ways to use any rr [not many health care companys out there] But why they would not print the second time around is beyond me . Unless just at that moment the service went down to catalina ??? I would give it a try again at a diffrent store if you can and really want the items .
wonder what rewards # are attached to those RR’s .

My WAGS said that the baby lotions and diaper creme were not part of the $3 RR. Only the medicines in the box – so for me, it was the lip ointments. I was really bummed, but when I looked at the add again, it seemed to be correct.

Tonya, the same thing happened to me at my Wags with the J&J Babby Products. They were very nice and voided/ran it 3 times (store was empty). The manager told me that the Wags add is very deceiving on the J&J products because only the Children’s cold, allergy, pain relief products qualify for the RR. Every product that is outside the the white box (J&J baby, Pediatric Electroyte, Enfamil Formulas) do not qualify for RR.

Take a look at the add…I think the MGR is right. We ran it 3 times and NO RR’s.

If anyone got RR on any of the other products, I’d be interesting in hearing about it.

Good story gone bad!

Okay, here it is. I’m sure someone out there has a similar, gut-wrenching story. I went to Walgreens today and got my 2 free boxes of Electrasol dishwasher tablets, my two free packages of Stayfree maxipads, and my free Revlon eyeshadow. The total ended up being 88 cents for taxes. I got in my purse and took out $1.00, got my change, and left.

When I got to Walmart, my next stop, I realized that the two $25 gift cards my sons had gotten for Walmart for Christmas were GONE! Apparently, when I pulled the dollar out, the gift cards must have fallen out, too. I called Walgreens and of course, no one turned in any gift cards. So, my approximately $30.00 in savings ended up costing me over $50.00!

If you bought the gift cards and still have the receipts, call right away and they may be able to help you. This happened to us, my mom sent my husband 2 different gift cards in the mail, for Christmas and his birthday. She called the stores where she bought them and they were able to help her out. The one for Kohl’s though had already been used so there was nothing they could do, but she is getting the Lowes one reissued. Hope you can get it worked out!

The gift cards were from my brother-in-law, so I don’t have a receipt and knowing him, he doesn’t have it, either.

The worst part of this story is going to be when I tell my husband!

I copy the backs of all gift cards I give and receive now, I also register them when I can. I do this because we found a gift card at the airport and tryed to return it to the store so the person who lost it could have it back. The store (best buy) told us they have no way of tracking down the purchaser and if (apparently this does not happen often) someone returns them they just toss them. I am sorry for your lost $ !

The Nivea hydrating shower gel advertised indicates an 8.4 fl oz. size, and the $2 Nivea body wash coupon specifies 16.9 fl oz, so I don’t think this coupon will work. I did find a pamphlet located in front of these shower gels which includes a $1 coupon that will work for the gels.

Yeah, I was gonna post the same thing. Body wash and shower gel are two different things. The previous coupons we have are for body wash and those won’t work, but I did find the pamphlets last week that have $1 off the hydrating gel.

I have a small coupon book I keep in my purse. In it I have my Walgreens Rewards, CVS Rewards , Winn Dixie $10 off $50 and all other really good coupons. I also had a $50 gift card that I lost. It was turned in at Winn Dixie with everything still in it. I was really surprised and there are still a lot of wonderful people in this world.

Johnson Rebate question: The directions say to circle the prices on the “receipt” not “receipts”. Does that mean all the products have to be purchased at one time?? It’s not stated anywhere else on the rebate form.

I went to Walgreen’s tonight to get the deals before they ended. I don’t know if anyone else knew about this deal, but if you buy 4 of the Aquafina 24 packs that were on sale for $5.99 and use the in ad coupon it takes all 4 down to $3.99 each (-$8) even though it said limit of 2. I then got back $10 in RR for buying $20 worth. I didn’t see the deal anywhere in the sales ad or the store but happened to run accross it on someone’s blog.

Also, the ThermaCare Arthritis Hand and Wrist as well as the knee wraps were on clearance for $3.69 and used the $3 coupons to make them $0.69. Just thought you might want to know that in case you can’t find them at Publix. This might even be a better deal if you want the arthritis ones. I’m not sure if all Walgreens put the same things on clearance or not.

Actually, I just looked at my reciept and the heat wraps only costed $2.29 and I used the $3 off coupon so I got an additional 71 cents off of my total purchase. I wondered why the coupon beeped, but I wasn’t paying attention to the price when she rang it up and she just entered it and sent the coupon through. Sweet deal!

Haha poor kids! Just kidding! That’s a great idea to get them to drink it. You can tell them when they get older. My grandmother used to make a cake that she would tell me was spice cake and I later found out that it is actually prune cake. She knew I wouldn’t eat it if she told me what was in it.

For the $10 off $30 J&J rebate, do they count the sale price or the regular price? Also, is it the price before or after coupons? And has anyone had a problem with submitting items on 2 receipts instead of one?

They only count what you end up paying so you have to end up paying for $30 worth of product one way or another.

Laura, I also had that question because, I went to Walgreens yesterday and was told that Walgreens does not accept Q’s for B1G1 for items that are on sale B1G1. Has anyone else had this happen, particularly on the Oust?

it always does for me here costal ga even if one rings up 0.00 i still get it free . i just put them in w/ other stuff . i think if u only had just the free stuff on one trans it might make the casher nervious . that happens to my mom all the time . the casher may think shes helping you steal or something. sometimes the manager gets called and refuses to take them . ITS NOT STEALING the store is offering one free if you buy one . so what difference does it make to them if you pay for the one with a coupon

In Middle Tennessee my friend successfully got 2 cans of Oust free (1 from the Walgreens and 1 using the coupon). The WGreens I went to was out of Oust by Sun afternoon but I hope to find another WGreens later this week and get free Oust also…

Can someone offer their advice to a new couponer? My Walgreens did have the buy one get one free, but I think in the end I may have made a mistake. At the top of my receipt is 55.62 in various rebate products and at the bottom it is marked with the FREE items totaling 27.06. That means that the receipt reflects that I only spent 28.56 (which I obviously used coupons on of course). Does this mean that because of the FREE items that I didn’t spend the $30 and wouldn’t be rebate eligible?

thanks so much for the tip! made a quick wags trip after reading this and did 2 transactions, spent $4 RR and just under $3 oop on over $35 worth of products on transaction #1. spent no RR and only $1.04 oop on over $32 worth of products on transaction #2!!!!!! i am so excited. now i’m going to send in for 2 of the $10 rebates – one for me and one for mom. got the aveeno lotion my husband uses and the lubriderm my mom loves. this was an amazing deal!

wanted to add that i wished i had printed 2 of each of the blackhead eraser q’s. i only had one of each. a better deal would have been to get 2 erasers, 2 refills, and 2 of the small lubriderm:

2 erasers = 39.98
2 refills = 13.98

B1G1 at the register would take off -$30.97

I just did the Lubriderm/Aveeno/Clean&Clear deal at Walgreens. I thought the Aveeno, etc stuff was BOGO 50% off, but it was clearly charged as BOGO FREE. I got two dog toys ($2 each) as fillers, used two RR for $1 each, and did the Colgate deal. I paid just under $10 for everything (!!), and will submit a rebate for $10. I actually made $2 on this deal, as I got $2RR back for the toothpaste. Anyone else having this kind of luck?

I bought the smallest Lubriderm lotions, at my store it was priced at 3.69..All the other lotions had BOGO 50% off sign…I didn’t even pay attention to the receipt..When I got home, i noticed it rang as BOGO FREE! So I actually had 2.31 overage, because I had the $2 coupons and the $1 from Diabetes and You.

Unless you ended up paying $30 or more in product the $10 rebate wont work. They only look at what you paid.

Just got back from Wags. I did a combo of deals including the Bic Soliel razors. BONUS- most of the Soliel packages included a +2 on the razors. So instead of getting 4 per package I got 6. Buying two packages (as required for the sale) basically got me a third pack for free. And I payed almost nothing for them to begin with.

Watch out on the haircolor. My Wags had signs posted stating that the Q had a typo and should have been more specific to the higher priced items. I’m taking that Q to Publix; they’ll take it.

I’m not sure if I’m missing something with the “instant coupons” that they offer. In December, I bought m & m’s and didn’t get the instant coupon discount and yesterday, I didn’t get the $3 off for the Bic razors. When I made my list, I thought that it was going to be RR, but when I got home and looked at the ad again, I realized that once again, I didn’t get the instant coupon. Is there a special coupon booklet in the store that I am missing?

There is a January coupon book at the front of the store with the flyers. You need to use those coupons at the register. It is a bit confusing, especially if you don’t go to Wags very often. (I prefer CVS, but I had to return a Redbox movie I checked for deals at WAGs.)

The Wags Bic coupon came up as a manufacturer coupon on the receipt. The register beeped when the cashier scanned the BOGO coupon and she overrode it. I thought the WAGs coupons were store coupons and I was stacking them. It was Sunday night and the cashier was a young woman so she just pushed it through. Wags is not very coupon friendly so I was wondering if anyone has had issues trying to use both coupons?

I went to WAGS yesterday and tried to do the Theraflu and Lipton Tea deal. Buy 1 SugarFree Theraflu at $3.99 and 1 box of Lipton Tea Bags at $3.49, use (2) $2 off Theraflu, (1) $2 off Theraflu coupon from Diabetes & You magazine and get $4 Register Rewards. The register wouldn’t accept the coupon from the Diabetes & You mag. I was told that since the Theraflu was a MegaSaver, that is the same as a WAGS coupon (it’s just automatically taken off at the register). Since you can’t stack two WAGS coupons (MegaSaver and the coupon from the Diabetes & You mag) on top of each other, the register wouldn’t take it. Anyone else having this problem?

$3/1 thermacare worked for me, and I bought the trial size. that’s actually where the ad. tag was hanging from on the shelf. So, FREE, WITH $3 OVERAGE!!!! YIPPEE!!!!! too bad I can’t get that Q again, but I’m still going back with $1.25/1 Q. can’t resist!!

I just started couponing and did the deals at Walgreens. I received a $2 register reward. I went back next day to pick up the cottinelle T/P on $5 sale and the halls with the mf coupon. At the register the $2 register reward was not accepted. They try to scann a few times but it would not go through. On the coupon it says save $2 off your nexy shopping order over the value of coupon. So , I do not get this. Can you give me advise?

At Walgreens you have to have more items than MC’s, the RR counts as a MC so you would need to pick up a filler item to make the transaction go through. Example Cottenelle – .50 MC, Halls – .50 MC, you have 2 items and 2 MC’s, you must add a 3rd item (pencil,gum,eggs?) to be able to use the RR as it is counted as a MC as well. Most of the cashiers and even some of the managers do not know how their own systems work, but WE do…lol HTH

Am I the only one who gets frustrated with WAGS every single week? I went in that store and used the BOGO for the BIC razors and then the $3/2. The cashier said I couldn’t use the $3 coupon because I didn’t purchase 2 products. Then I tried to buy Sugar Free Theraflu + Lipton Tea. I had a manufacturer’s coupon and store coupon. I don’t even remember the reason she said I couldn’t use both, but I wound up paying $4 more than I wanted. After all was said and done, I spent $12 more than “planned”. I won’t be going in WAGS unless it’s just a straight coupon deal. CVS is soooooooo much easier to deal with!

No, believe me, you are not the only one! Most times I go in there I walk out with my deals not working and being totally frustrated. Every now and then I get lucky and the deals work like they should. I agree—CVS is really much easier (and most of the cashiers are friendlier)!

I also have problems EVERY week at Walgreens. They do try to fix it but it is a pain every week to get a manager involved. Soon they will know me by name. (And I don’t want that)!! LOL

I have NEVER had problems at CVS and they take more coupons than items purchased.

I rarely go to Walgreens anymore. They are almost always out of what I need to purchase, plus I’m not a fan of the register rewards. They are only good for 2 weeks (as opposed to 4 weeks for CVS’ ECBs), and it’s hard to get there that often! I do love CVS, though!

Ok guys, I’m ticked with Walgreens. I have enough problems with them and their employees. I set my manufacturer coupon down after she rang up my stuff while I was ripping out the store coupon. When I slid the MQ toward her, she said “I know”. And waited for the store coupon so she could scan it first. It didn’t affect me today but…..

Why does she have the audacity to force the store coupon first? And what should I say/do next time it happens? I usually hide my store coupons from site until they ring the MQ, but sometimes you forget.

I have a question about this $10 rebate. I purchased 2 Lubriderm at Walgreen and it shows $7.99 each, then I used mfg @ & store Q then they took off $7.99 at the end. Now, if I circle the 2 $7.99 items on the top of the receipt, will that be accepted as purchases since the item was free at the end?

I have a question about the J&J Rebate. It says you must purchase $30 (to get the $10 rebate)– Is that $30 BEFORE all the great B1G1 50% off sale prices and my coupons or do those products still have to total $30 AFTER all my sales have been taken off– b/c my receipt will show it did NOT come to $30 b/c the B1G1 prices were being taken off as she rung them up.
