I didn't think they would, just wondered if others were aware that the coupon from that site was expired. Thanks for the info about the military base though, and thanks for responding.

I live in Chattanooga (E. Brainerd), and the cashiers and manager are the best. I check out at the make up counter and they are always very friendly and helpful. Kudos to my WAGS!

True story: I was in Wags today wanting to purchase the Pert and Bic promotions and they were out of both (typical for that store). I spoke to the checker behind the cosmetics counter to ask her if they had anymore and if not may I get a raincheck, she said, "I don't know, you will have to ask someone that works here." I said, Oh, I'm sorry, I thought you worked here." "Well, I do, but only part time, I don't know the merchandise." I stood confused for a moment, smiled, said "thank you" and walked on.

bic razors..... i also went to 2 different walgreens and was told i would have to by 3 razors in order to get one free with my coupon. so buy one get 2 free. i tried to explain that walgreens was giving me the first one for free and bic was giving me the second one free. they said nice try.. then also said that i was attempting to do coupon fraud. that really made me mad. when i showed them jennys printout. they said she didnt know what she was talking about and was trying to get alot of people to commit fraud. i dont intend to go back to either of those walgreens.

I have to say I have been finding it the exact opposite! Just as an example, I went to WAGS on my lunch break and bought 2 packs of little movers huggies. (8.99) with the 2 dollars off and the 1 from the coloring book and 3 packs of wipes. 2.50 ea with the 1 dollar off each from the book and .75 c off from coupons. The cashier rang it in diapers first then wipes, she did store coupon first and then the manu coupons for the diapers and it worked but she did the same thing for the wipes and it did not work. She could not get the .75's to go at all. She voided the whole thing and tried it again wipes first, still did not work. Manager had to be called over and although totally nice, could not get it to work either. I had a bunch of extra items I tried as well, the 10 cent bags or whatever they were and no number of them rang in would allow me to take those .75 coupons.

Ultimately I had to just apologies and have him close off the whole thing and I had to leave. They were very nice about it but the times they are a changing in WAGS I think. If they do not like using the Wags coupons and manu coupons together they should not make them available to the public.

Just my thoughts.

on the razors my wags had them ringing up the first one at 5.99 then the second one at $1. They said I could use the coupon, but it would only take off $1. That stinks! The add said b1G1 so I don't even know why it would ring up this way and then why wouldn't they count the coupon for 5.99, they would get reimbursed for that amount????

I don't think all the rude expression gives this website a bad name... just Walgreens! I have a very hard time at Wags also, not because of the employees though. CVS just has a more relaxed register system and really applaud the idea that people are getting merchandise at such a great deal. It makes everyone feel good!

Info on Wags in CLeveland TN, I had a conversation with a couple employees(maybe even asst mgr, or mgr level) about the complaints on here, and what their q policy was. She said that they don't mind breaking up transaction to roll ecbs , using q's etc. She said that it's better to do all this at the cosmetics counter and that shes more than happy to do it and that the cosmetic counter emplyees know more about how to do this. This was at the Wags @ 25th, the Wags on Ocoee(near keith and walmart) has also been pleasant. I will just say that the wags off apd 40 isn't as nice, my friend tried to do Jenny's diaper/pull up deal, and they wouldn't let her, her oop was like 35, she was very frustrated.

Also~The neosporin lip RR deal is also still going until the 30th for those that weren't able to get it last week, I was able to get it today.

What's wrong with just being cordial to one another and following the rules? Why would one have to jump through certain hoops in hopes that you will "hold something back" for me or give me a better deal than you would another customer? Are you saying I would need to bring in treats for all the employees to get something really good, or be fake and gushing with happiness and enthusiam to please the store staff so they'll make my shopping experience more "worthwhile?" Something in that feels inherently wrong to me. I am an honest shopper working with the established rules of the manufactures and the stores. The advertised deal, honoring the manufactures q's and a cordial shopping experience by both parties is all I seek.

Bottom Line on Walgreens: Have they changed the policy with items that are BOGO? Can you not use 2 coupons with BOGO? Tried to do the oil of olay deal today and they would not use 2 coupons. Do we need to call Corporate Walgreens to find out?
Isn't that why we love Walgreens, when make-up and so many other products go bogo we are able to buy 2 with 2 coupons?
Just think its so much easier if we have one set of rules that all stores go by!

Hey all -

I'm just going to add my two cents here. In the Greenville/Spartanburg area, I've not run into one rude employee - it's actually been quite the opposite. With CVS and Walgreens, I've always been afraid to do more than one transaction in one stop, but the first time I tried at the new WAGs in Duncan, I was pleasantly surprised. When I prefaced my trip to the counter with, "Ok, I'm going to do several transactions here..." the cashier said, "Sure! I don't mind! We get people that do that all the time. If it saves you money, I'll help!" She even scanned a coupon for me that i wasn't aware of.

The frustrating thing about WAGS (for me) has been items that don't ring up for the sale price. Sale items on the shelves that are not marked. I always carry my ad with me now to make sure that I am, in fact, picking up the right thing and so that I can show the cashier. It takes more time at WAGS because you have to pay more attention!

I am not surprised at all the comments about Walgreen's couponing frustrations. Yes, you do have to get to know the stores couponing policies (and attitude towards) but the 3 out of 4 Walgreens here have kept me from returning and not even looking at their circulars anymore. Unless I have a prescription forget it. I have gotten to know them by the unwarranted comments and embarrassment at the registers in front of other people and find it in my best interest to pay a higher price than to shop there and be harrassed. I am a very honest, open/not easily hurt person but do not appreciate being treated like a criminal WITH USING A COUPON! GET REAL WALGREENS! Poor leadership is always filtered down so I don't always blame the cashier even though a corporation can't always control their workers. They can though, have a clear, written coupon policy and training to ensure there is good, working communication to their employees and ultimately to the customer. Until then, I'd rather go to Walmart. Sorry Jenny to waste your space...YOU ROCK!

I am not surprised at all the comments about Walgreen’s couponing frustrations. Yes, you do have to get to know the stores couponing policies (and attitude towards) but the 3 out of 4 Walgreens here have kept me from returning and not even looking at their circulars anymore.
I just read through all the comments and was a little surprised to hear all the harsh comments about Walgreens. I understand how frustrating these experiences can be for us all. But I want to highlight what one other person mentioned, that knowing your store can help. I have two Walgreens in my area. I experienced a few issues with one a few months ago and decided to try the other one. This store is so nice to me! They know my and my children and seem excited to see us every week. I go at the same time, so all the cashiers know us. I get all the good deals and try to be honest with my couponing. They in turn do their best to help me even when the system is not cooperating. Last week I even had a manager cash a RR ($10 for the Pepsi deal) out for me when it did not print! So there are some good Walgreens out there!

Also, they have Sure deodorant 2/$3. Use your $1.50 coupon from the paper off each and they are both free!

I have to say Tami, I very much appreciate your attitude of going above and beyond for the customers of your store. I worked for years in retail management and I know that the customer is the # 1 priority. My store increased in business because of this.

I started couponing just last September. I had no idea what hell I would have to go through thanks to the EXTREMELY rude Walgreens employees. Shopping at Walgreens is the most God awful thing I have experienced and, I now know exactly why my customers would gush at the customer service I provided as a manager.

I am EXTREMELY nice and am never rude, but as a Walgreens customer it has meant nothing. I have yet to explode on these people, but feel that it could happen at any time. You must understand, the bottom line is, WE are the customer and we have very busy lives. I feel outraged, extremely angry, and depressed when I am treated rudely and condescendingly each and every time that I step foot in Walgreens.

So remember, Walgreens has a very bad rap. Almost every single Walgreens employee is EXTREMELY rude at ALL of the FIVE stores in my area.

I know there are lots of rude people in general, but it may be that some of your customers are fed up with Walgreen's service in general. That is the case here from my experience.

I hope you are able to successfully train your employees on the values of customer service, so that every customer will not be treated as if they are "going to be" a rude customer.

I had the same problem in Chattanooga, TN. The manager would not allow me to get them for free. I'll try another Walgreens and see what happens.
