Depends on which paper you buy. The local paper for the 2 small towns on either side of me don't have the red plum inserts, but if I buy the Tennessean, it's in there

My second dilemma today is for you RR and ECB pros. I hope I can run 2 deals I want to do and see if you can tell me if it will work. First hubby works for walgreens so ED means employee discount. Deal 1-joint juice-8.50-ED
lip stick -1.69-ED
eggs .84-ED
total-11.03
can I use an 8RR and a3RR or would I need a filler of some sort.I also did this figuring a bottle of pepsi so the total would be 11.25. The second deal is also close with the total being 10.43 and I have an 8RR and a 2RR. Thanks

Hi fellow couponers. I wanted to give everyone a heads up on the accucheck. I bought one and the refund card is expired. I had already filled all the info out and on the very bottom I saw the small print. It is the one advertised for 14.99,the refund card says it had to be purchased by the end of dec 09.I brought it back to walgreens with the card and they gave me a refund.

thought i'd give you guys a heads up!

2 of the 4 scalpicin wipes i purchased today had FREE 60 minute phone cards in them! i have already activated them both and they work. you just have to complete a short online survey or you can do it over the phone. i wish i would have know this prior to my purchase, i would have checked the boxes to find the ones with cards in them first. the box says nothing about a free phone card or anything. it is a small card (about 1 x 4) and has Scalpicin 60 minute phone card on one side and directions for use on the other.

thought some of you might still be headed to wags for the deals this weekend and may want to be on the lookout for the free phone cards. good luck!

Just wanted to say that I found the 8 pack Lever 2000 bar soap to be cheaper this week at Kroger ($4.49 at my store). I had a .75 off coupon, so I paid less than $4 for it!

They are full price, however, they still count towards the spend $20, get $10 promotion, from what I have read, and from what's listed on the stand alone display at my store. If you have the "Buy 2 tostito's chips, get 1 salsa/dip free" tearpad, you can get 6 bags chips and 3 salsa's for $2.00 (assuming you have $10 in RR to use) and get back another $10 RR. Wags is where we are getting the chips/dips/pop for our Superbowl party. Can't beat these prices!!! :)

The stand alone display with all the items at our store, lists Stacy's pita chips as a participating product. This was a month long deal (ending 2/6), and there were just certain weeks where some things went on sale. Just because it isn't in the flyer doesn't mean that they aren't included. They are, however, regular price, not on sale. The regular price at my store is 2/$6 or $3.29 each. I still have 20 coupons to use, so will probably be doing this deal sometime before saturday.

Okay, so if you have no register rewards to start with, you would pay quite a bit OOP on this deal, $11.15 plus tax. Of course, you don't really need the valentines tumbler, as it's just a filler item- Jenny was using it to allow her to use the RR, which counts as a coupon. You could just buy the first 2 items, pay 10.98 plus tax OOP, and get back the 14$ RR.
However, if you're like most of us, you want to limit your OOP expense, so maybe you want to start with just one RR deal. Ex:
Trans 1:
Buy 1 scalpicin at 5.99
use 1 Q 1.00 off
pay $4.99 plus tax-- OOP
Get back 6$ RR

Trans 2:
Buy 1 Blink Tears at 7.99
Buy 1 Valentines Tumbler at .17 (This is your filler item, to let you use your RR)
Use $2.00 off Blink Tears Q
Use in-ad coupon for tumbler
Use $6 RR from previous transaction
Pay .16 plus tax OOP
Get back 8$ RR

This way you pay only $5.15 plus tax OOP, and you have 8$ RR to start next week with.

HTH

For example, if I did your scenario
Buy:
(1) Blink Tears $7.99
(1) Scalpicin Wipes $5.99
(1) Valentines Tumbler 17¢
Use:
-$2 off Blink Tears RP 1/31
-$1 off Scalpicin printable (IE) or printable (FF)
-$10 RR
-in ad coupon for tumbler
Total Due: $1.15
Get Back: $14 RR ($8, $6)

I WOULD actually have to pay money and then get the RR right? What is the OOP on this deal. I have not done and RR yet? I'm so confused! LOL

I've been CVS'ing for a while, but today was my first try at the Walgreens RR deal and I made out like a bandit!! I got the Bayer Contour glucose meter, Axe shower gel, and 2 of the new Sensodyne toothpastes and only spent $3! I love it!

Just return the one you didn't get your rewards for and then buy another one with a new transaction. As long as you don't use your RR that you got back from the first one another one will print.

Well good news and bad news. I am still new with this register reward deal and in doing so I think I made a big boo boo (actually hubbys fault) I hope that can be fixed. On the blink thing I seperated them as needed but because hubby distracted me while I was doing doing the second transaction I used the blink RR. It wasn't until after we left the store that I realized I didn't get the second RR and realized why Any way to fix this or am I eating a big dose of learning soup.On the good note I did great until then.
