I am hoping that since you haven't reported back that it doesn't mean you didn't get your $10. I will be going by there on Friday or Saturday and would still love to hear what happen when you went back to this FL.

I went tonight and was able to buy regular Corn Flakes, the kind with no sugar. In fact, I bought 3 boxes of Kelloggs cereal @ $2.50 each, 4 boxes of Hungry Jack pancake mixes @ $1.99 each, 2 HJ syrups @ $2.79 each, 3 boxes of Pop Tarts @ $2.50 each. The cool thing is, a lot was on sale, even if you didn't buy 10. This *would* have come to $28.54. With the $10 off, however, it came to $18.54. I used coupons $1/3 Kelloggs cereals,
I used coupons: $1/3 cereals, three $1/2 Hungry Jack, and $1/3 Pop Tarts. That brought it to $13.54. A savings of $15!
All I can say is, I hope they do it again in a few months, when we've stock-piled our coupons!

Wow! Sure wish I'd seen them. My daughter *loves* getting those little boxes for quick snacks & breakfasts, and I would have gotten the great deal! How lucky for you…Congrats!

I bought 8 boxes of cereal, 2 boxes of breakfast cereal bars, 6 cans of creamed corn & 1 gallon of milk for $14.22 PLUS I got a $4.00 coupon that I can use @ Publix tomorrow! After the $4.00 coupon this breaks down to 68 cents per item!! Yay for Jenny & Southern Savers!

They do not double or accept other competitor coupons. You can stack a FL coupon with a man q usually depends on how your store is.

That is true, but I had 5 $1 off of 2 coupons which is $5 more $ off making it $10. Then I got back a $4 off of next purchase coupon. That makes them 60 cents a piece. Its a great deal!! I went back and bought 10 more boxes and used 5 more coupons and the $4 off coupon that I received in the first transaction. Then I got back another $4 off coupon!!! That should keep my kids happy for a while. :)

I was very reluctant to try this.. but my friend convinced me that it was a good deal. I had a horrible experience at my store. The ad was misleading because they put the wrong size cereal in the paper. I had to exchange items several times and I got only the specific items and it was $20.00. That is not a deal to me. Next time I will skip this deal.I didnt need boxes of cereal that's why I didnt go that route

Watch out for Foodlion. I use coupons and I've been almost ripped off, However I show them the mistake and it gets corrected.

My Food Lion had the .70 cent off of 1. I paid $4.00 for 109 boxes of cereal!!! That is .40 cents for a $3.89 box of cereal. I am so excited!!!!!!!

Went to Foodlion today in Greenville, NC. 2 of my friends got our coupons together. We bought 6 Kellogg Frosted Flakes, 2 Kellogg Pop's, and 2 Kellogg Fruit Loops. We had 5 coupons for 1.50/2. We received the instant $10.00 off and our bill came to 7.80. With our receipt we received a $4.00 off our next visit coupon. The Foodlion vegetables are 3/.99 so we bought 12 cans of vegetables with our $4.00 coupon!

Alison and Julie, when did you do your shopping? I was in there late Saturday evening between 9 and 10 p.m. and the manager I spoke to was named Mike. He acted like it was the first time he had heard about the sale so I was just wondering when it was that you shopped and who you had to speak to. I have to say he wasn't really rude just not that helpful but I kept pushing the point. I am also willing to return the 10 items I bought if I don't get my $10 and will let them know I will not be shopping at that store again. I'm just not sure the one located next to the Kmart is much better. Anyone have any luck with no problems at any Food Lions located in Lexington?

I won't be shopping at the location ever again! I had the same problem. I was told “LOOK, we just got the list this morning and we haven't had time to put up signs”, as if it's my fault they don't know anything about the sale. Everyone in there was so rude. It took 30 minutes of trying different size cereal boxes to finally get the $10 off to take. It should show up as an instant $10 off your final price on your receipt, in addition to the MVP savings of the cereal being $2.50 and the cereal bars being $2.50. This location shows by their actions that they do not care about costumer service. Good luck getting your $10!

I had the same trouble at the same store. I have to go back and get my 10.00 next time. Very frustrating! I was more upset because no one in the store knew anything about it and they were not very helpful. I also did not get $4 off but I did get the $1 off. I do not think I will shop there again.

I had this problem at the Lexington, SC store. The one with the Home Depot located behind it. I spent about an hour in the store and still didn't come out with my $10 “reward”. At first I was told that the $10 savings was the MVP savings. Then I pointed out that if I bought 10 of the FL oatmeals that were only on sale for $0.50, I would only save $5 using my MVP. Then it was because I didn't buy the right combination of products. So then I pointed out that the ad didn't say anything about having to buy a certain combination. Then it was because I bought the wrong instant coffee because I bought de-caf and I pointed out the ad didn't state only regular coffee. In fact in stated that an 8 oz Folgers coffee was suppose to be on sale for $4.99 and there were not any sales tag on any Folgers coffee that was on the shelf. I also got told I bought the wrong box of cereal but I picked up the one that was one the long sales shelf at the front of the store. The manager finally picked up 10 of the sales items, rang them up and showed me that the mvp savings came to $11 and that FL wouldn't be giving an additional $10 saves off of that. Again I disagreed because it mentioned that there was only 1 reward offered per transaction so I asked did that mean if I bought more than 10 boxes of cereal I wouldn't get that mvp sale price. He said no, I would still get that savings. Then I pointed out again the ad stated one “reward” per transaction. He finally admited he didn't know anything about the sale and that he didn't know how to make the register give me my $10. He called the FL loacted beside the K-Mart in Lexington, SC and that manager said it would come as a $10 catalina at my next shopping trip and that if I didn't get it to come back and talk to him. I know it will not because that isn't what the ad said but I got his name and the ad and will be back to see him next week. It was 10 p.m. and I had a sleeping 3 year old in the car with my husband so I was tired of agruing with him. But I will be back to see him to get my $10. He still says I bought the wrong coffee but he is going to be nice and let me get the $10 anyway. They had a big sign hanging in the window that mentioned the sale but NO ONE in that store knew anything about it. I too noticed that the lots of the cereal was gone and wondered how many people thought they were getting $10 off and didn't. I wasn't very happy when I left the store!! OH…and I didn't get a $4 off my next shopping trip catalina either but nothing about it was stated in the ad.
